Hi Jean, the rodent ulcers (which don't actually look like ulcers, sometimes a small bump and sometimes a sore patch), are caused by skin damage from the sun many years ago. Sometimes people get one, sometimes many like me and there could be more. Another name for them is basal cell carcinoma which is why they can't be ignored, a couple I have had for about 20 years and they haven't 'turned', but they can in rare cases develop into melanoma. |

Thanks for letting us know how you got on Ann, do you know what causes the ulcers to keep appearing? you sound a lot braver than me..... I have been told by the practice nurse I have a low pain threshhold,. if I prick my finger I feel it for days after, so I would be a nervous wreck if I had to have what you go through, personally I think my version is another word for wimp ;-) ;-) so I cry a lot... ;-) ;-) |

Yes I am back, actually went in 5 minutes early (there's a first) and was out by five past three, so we walked into town and went and had a glass of wine and a bowl of chips in Wetherspoons. |

I thought you had got rid of a lot of your stuff Jean. A While back. I only have my hair done once every 6 weeks and usually coloured about every 3 to 4 months. Depending on time of year and where I am going. |

Joking Ann...lol....., the cards are always sold at the Hospice and also were D works, but J noticed how quiet the hairdresser was,so maybe folk are cutting back, someone wanted to know how much it was for a colour and blow wave It was £ 45, I just go once a fortnight, so not as dear, maybe I should try the rest home across from were I live, they may want some.... I would still give the money to the hospice though, but I am downgrading some of my stock , cant move for stuff. so I am wondering how to dispose of some of it never done selling on e-thingy,so suggestions will be gratefully recieved.......but there will be a time to slow down , its getting harder to carry on with the normal things of life, so off to bed.... |

Why call it a day Jean, I thought your charity cards were in great demand. I suspect that the hairdressers is not the best place to sell, I have noticed that things don't sell in our hairdressers, don't know why. |

Hi, No Jean, I didn't take any photos over the weekend as we didn't really go anywhere, and the grandsons are a bit big for photos these days, unless it is a special occasion. |

Just a quick look in here before I go out. Sorry didn't get back yesterday, I don't know where the time went, it was 10-30pm before I realised what time it was. |

Mo, my poorly little mite, hope you are feeling much better soon, dont go out in the cold, the garden will be there when you feel better and hopefully the warmer weather will be here.... I am like you just want a change of scenery. but waiting to hear from the oral clinic should be getting my date soon... so everything is on hold at the moment.... |
