Sallie love, I have just received my next appointment for the specialist, it's for the 25th of October. At least with it being so far ahead, I am hoping and praying the cyst has not grown, or they would have had me in sooner. Phew relief. But I do have to see a breast specialist, as I now have a cyst in the breast. My doctor gave me a course of anti-biotics, to hoprfully get rid of it, but on seeing him today, he is not happy that it hasn't gone completely, so wants me to see someone. I am not to worried about it, as he has told me he doesn't think it's anything nasty lurking there.
I have not heard anymore from Marilyn, so I am praying that no news is good news.
Jean, I am sending healing wishes for your godaughter, and praying for her. I hope you are both well my love. xxx
Ann, you must be due back very soon now, so enjoy whatever time you have left of your hols, and don't come back to tanned, or the family may not recognise you, especially the new baby.
Sylvia, I hope you are feeling better now, after your bad tummy upset. I hope you didn't get swept away with the storms you were due to have. lol
I wonder if Marie has started her packing in readiness for her move. I bet the removal firm will turn up, and pack her in the van with all her worldy chattels (sp)
Well my lovelies, I have had my toorh crowned today, and my pearlies are looking wonderful. I am going to smile at everyone I meet tomorrow, just to show it off, :-D :-D :-D thats me showing you my lovely gnashers.
Must go now, take care everyone, hugs Mo xxx

Hello ladies,
Mo thanks for letting us know about Marilyn. I had read about her on the Friendly thread and replied to you on there. Let's hope and pray that the treatment will be successful and that she will make a good recovery.
It looks as though you have had a lovely time with Lillie over the last couple of days. She is at such a lovely and interesting age now, just love what they say and do.
Have you had your follow up appointment at the hospital yet,Mo? It seems a good while since you went for your scan.
Jean. like Mo, both you and Jeff have had a lovely time with having littlie visit you. I smiled, thinking that the most simple of things like tearing up paper can keep them amused for a good while. Bless him.
Thank you for your pm, I haven't had a chance to look at the pics yet, but will look at them when I finish posting on here.
My craft room is slowly coming to shape, I still have to find somwhere to store my dies, not sure the best and easiest way to store them all. I have bought quite a few new Marianne dies again lately along with some metallic plates, so must get them organised.lol!!!
Ann, your holiday seems to have gone by quickly......hope you and T will have a good and safe journey home.
Pleased with my laptop, it's a Toshiba and I did well to get it for a £100. I'm pleased that at last I can now get the emoticons on this one :-D :-D :-D.... it's a long time since I could get them on my old laptop.
Sylvia, hope that you are feeling a lot better today.
Huia and Marie I hope that both you and your families are all okay.
Will say goodnight to you all now.
Take care everyone.
Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Hello ladies, I am sorry I forgot to add the sad news that I received from our old friend Marilyn. She contacted me via a p.m, to ask me to let her friends know, that unfortunately she is unable to get on her puter very often at the moment, due to her having ovarian cancer. Bless her she is very poorly at the moment, and can't sit for very long on here, suffering so much pain. Please join me in sending her our very best wishes, and loads of ((((((((HUGS))))))) for a speedy recovery from this blasted disease. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 FOR OUR MARILYN. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
I hope you are all well. It was good to see you posting Sallie, and I hope you are managing with the new laptop.
Take care my friends, love and hugs to you all. Mo xxx

Hi girls, just a quick look in, haven't had time to read back yet, so will try to over the next couple of days.
I have had to get another laptop, didn't want to spend too much money so luckily one of Alun's work mates daughter was selling her's, so that she could buy an iPad..... so it's worked out well for the both of us.
Sylvia, shame that you had to miss your evening out, but hope that you are feeling a lot better today.
Will try and speak to you all tomorrow.
Take care.

Hi Mo, and everyone
The weather has been very pleasant here for the last several days ................. sunny, about 18C. But i gather we have the first of the autumnal storms coming through late tomorrow. I need to find out my sou'wester and wellies
I've been feeling off-colour for a couple of days ................ sort of nauseous and a bit of a tummy upset. I thought I was over it today, I felt great ................. until about 2 hours after I'd had my lunch. :-(
We were supposed to go out this evening, but I have called off, and OH is going to go to the reception by himself.
I suppose I've got to look carefully at what I had for lunch ................ which did not contain anything that I haven't been eating without any problems for months :-S
Take care everyone

Jean, we had our little one yesterday. She is getting so big now, that like you, I cannot pick her up and carry her, I have to be sitting down for our cuddles etc. She gave me a lovely present yesterday, whilst we were havinf a cuddle moment, she pointed to my hand and said" Bogey Nanny" cheeky monkey had picked her nose and wiped it on my hand, oooh yuk, needless to say she did get told off, but I had to chuckle to myself to think she would want to share it with me. ;-) ;-) ;-) She is now a real handful, and wants to know whats what, and the word why keeps coming into the conversation, cooo I was exhausted by the time she went home.
I hope that Joyce has had a better day today again. Onwards and upwards Joyce.
Take care everyone, hugs Mo xxx

Mo, the littlie was a delight and he had such a good time shredding the newspaper, both him and grampy. :-D :-D :-D he played and laughed all the afternoon, he is now crawling to get to toys just out of his reach, He is to heavy for me to lift up too.... then he yelled his head off he was so tired, and D( his nan) gave him cuddles and he went to sleep.....
I finally managed to set up my craft table and did some die cutting nd embossed several perfumed cards, but its so hard to keep having to get up and find were i have put stuff in the drawers and boxes....made me realise how brilliant it was before ....everything to hand.so dont think I will be doing to many.
its pouring down here so I may go back in an decorate the cards or go and have lie down ;-) ;-) ;-)
good news about Joyce, too.. take care one and all love Jean xxx <3

Good to hear from you in Tenerife Ann. Jealous yes, but pleased that you are enjoying yourselves. Hill climbing is not a good idea, when you both have got knee and leg problems, but I dare say the half litre of wine gave you the bright idea that you could do it without any problems ;-) ;-) ;-) the minds willing, but the body has other ideas hasn't it. You are lucky to be away from the U.K at the moment, the weather is atrocious, and when you get back, T will have a shock when he sees the garden, oh how the weeds are sprouting up, it's not a pretty sight. :-( :-( :-(
Jean what are you trying to do to poor Jeff, scaring the life out of him like that. A new car, wide screen t.v and new pots and pans, crumbs, the holiday wouldn't cost that much, have a heart honey. I hope you had a good time with your G Grandson, they are sooo lovely arn't they. I have been keeping updated re Joyce on Liz's thread, I just hope and pray that there is an improvement very soon. Poor Jan must be pulling his hair out with worry.
Sending special (((((((((( <3 <3 <3 and HUGS for Joyce)))))))))

Oh my goodness, how have we managed to slip so far down the pages. It's good to hear from you Sallie. Lets hope and pray that Jennie and Michael get a quick sale on their house. But unfortunately, as you know yourselves house the housing market is at the moment, it's up and down so quickly. If they are lucky, the first person to view it, will buy it....fingers crossed for them. I know how much it would mean to you my love. What a shock to read of Joyces stroke, please lord let her get over it as quickly as possible. I do hope her family are coming over to see her, and give her the support she gives them. Jan will also need their support at this time, as it comes as such a shock when it is so unexpected like this. Sallie and Jean, if you do hear from Jan, or the family, please send my regards to Joyce.
Thank goodness the rain has gone from here in Kent today. It's been so awful for the past few days.
Lucky Ann, will still be sunning herself in Tenerife, not getting webbed feet like we are back here in the U.K.
Sending love and hugs to Sylvia, Marie and Huia all across the water.
And now my lickle lovely, Jean. How are you and J doing now? I should imagine you have booked your break away by now...have you decided where you would like to go yet.?
I must go now my lovely cyber friends. Please take care of yourselves. Hugs to all, Mo xxx

Hello girls, I had a job finding this thread, it was on page seven. Sorry not been on, having problems with this lappy since last week...it looks as though we'll have to buy a new one as this one is a good many years old.
I haven't read back yet so will as soon as I can. Hope you are all alright.
Sheila rang me about nine this morning to let me know about Joyce. Sending her lot's of positive thoughts and prayers for a good recovery......also thinking about Jan.
We were over in North Wales last weekend, visiting my cousin and her family, had a lovely time there.
Jennie and Michael have put their house up for sale, both of them would like to come back to Ilkeston to live, but goodness knows how long it will take them to sell it.
Hopefully I will speak to you over the weekend, if lappy will allow me.lol!!
Love to everyone, take care of yourselves.
Love, Sallie.xxx

Ann, when have we ever been able to rely on our weather forecasts lol It was so nice when I put the washing out. I hope the heat is not getting to much for you, if it is, then send a little over here, you know how much we enjoy a little sunshine, but, you can keep the heat just send the sun.
Sylvia, I didn't realise that Fans had been so unwell, but at least she hasn't lost her sense of humour, she a tough bird, I wont say old coz she's not, she's a mere stripling isn't she. Have you heard anything about the sale of your cabin yet?
We had a lovely surprise today, our daughter, 2 grandaughters and our great grandaughter came to see us. Baby Zoey is eight months old today, crumbs how time flies by, she is such a little dear, and is trying so hard to walk. If you sit her on your lap she wriggles round till she is almost standing on your knees, and she's laughing all the time when she's trying to do it.
Time to go and watch strictly come dancing now, so see you later girls. Hugs Mo xxx

Hi Mo, and everyone
it is only "cloudy with possible showers" here today
Jean ................... I have drunk at least 2 4oz glasses of cranberry juice every day for many years. It's my drink of choice, other than water ........... especially when we go somewhere where everyone else is drinking alcohol. It's the very rare pub, bar, restaurant etc over here that does not have cranberry juice.
AnnG ...... glad to hear you are having soem hot weather
Mo .............. they showed that crash on our news, and I also looked at it online. It was horrific! Very surprising that no-one was killed ............ they were all darned lucky!!!
But, yes, it does beg the question of why people did not slow down!
take care eveyrone

Mo! Didn't you see the forecast :-D even here we knew you were going to get heavy rain. I have just come in because it is so hot out there. That massive accident was horrendous wasn't it? According to reports people going too fast and driving too close, plus some without lights. A miracle nobody was killed.
Jean your revamped room sounds good. :-) <3

Sylvia, my bikes got a puncture, but the penny farthing's still working, and if she thinks I am getting my bum up on that saddle, after all this time, she's got another think coming. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) I hope the biotics work for you my love, cystitus can be very painful as well as a damned nuisance when you are trying to get a full nights sleep. I hate it when the doctor decides to give us, what I call horse tablets....how the heck are we supposed to get the darned things down our throats. And nine out of ten times, they will stick half way down, and I end up nearly choking myself to death. Theres you suffering from heavy rainfall etc, whereas we have had bad fog here. There was an almighty accident near to us yesterday, over 130 cars were involved, and that happened when it was very foggy. The bridge it happened on is about five minutes away from us. I cannot for the life of me, understand why people speed in fog, and in that particular area it's a known fact that mist and fog can come down in no time.
Cooeee Jean. It is nice to hear from you my love. I bet the craft room is looking lovely. It must be if J is sitting there relaxing, and listening to his favourite crooners. Just make sure you don't forget yourself, and put the rock and roll music that you love on, and expect poor J to get up and jive with you. You might have your pusher now, but it will get in the way when you dance. :-D :-D :-D It's strange you saying about the Cranberries, because when I was at work, an elderly customer told me of an old wives remedy, it was to let a glass of coca cola go flat, and drink it. Goodness knows how many glasses you would need to drink though. lol
Cor luv a duck, I was really annoyed this morning. I put all the bedding out on the line before we went shopping, and yes you've guessed it, it chucked it down with rain whilst we were out. It came in wetter than it went out. boo hoo.
Got to go now girls, see you later, hugs to you all. Mo
