Good afternoon everyone. Ooooh I am going to moan now, " It's to flippin hot here again today ", I don't normally suffer with hay fever, but the pollen count must be sky high, as I cant stop sneezing, and my nose is running like a tap. Never ever happy are we, first it's to cold, then it's to wet, now it's to hot. lol
Marie, you are such a well organised person. Well done on pulling all the arrangements together for the Hayward reunion. I just hope that the others are grateful for what you are doing love. It's good to hear that the singing classes are going well, and being enjoyed by all that attend. How is the man who joined you getting along. Cor one man with all you lovely ladies, I bet he thinks he has won the lottery.
Well girls, I think I will go and find a nice cool area of the garden to sit in for a while. Bye for now. Love to you all Mo xxx

Hello to anybody looking in.
I will probably be spending a lot of time looking at the My Heritage website. The American disease has hit it. I know not all Americans are guilty of the disease, but there are so many Americans on Ancestry who do not do proper research, and now some of them are on M.H. I resent having my oldest sister married to somebody b1723. In fact the trees have her b1725, d1815, despite the fact that some of them have her father (and mine) correctly b1899 and our mother correctly named but incorrectly b1908 in Massacheusetts instead of 1900 in Hamilton NZ. The annoying thing is that on M.H. they are citing their source of info on Tui as 'Ancestry Family Trees.'
I have left a 'Memory' on their page about Tui, telling them that that is not a true source of info., rather it is a source of MISinformation. One person had removed my comments overnight, so I have put them in again. I wonder if any of them will find their way to my tree and put any comments on it?
Huia with her battle armour on.

Hi everyone. Many thanks for the E.Mail Huia. I didn't realise that N.Z had that many quakes going on most of the time. It's never bought to our attention, until something drastic happens, like in Christchurch. We are very very lucky here in the U.K, even though we Brits moan about most things, quakes are the one thing we cant complain about, thank god.
Hello Betty good to see you popping in , come back when you get a quiet moment on your own love, and have a natter with us.
Well I wonder how many of us got the thunderstorms, that were due last night. One things for sure, we didn't. It was stiflingly hot in the bedrooms, even with the windows open. Not a lot of sleep was got by either of us.
I hope you are are all o.k.
Love to you all, Mo xxx

Hi Mo and everyone Just had the thunderstorms. Really cooled it off.
Had a lovely weekend near Aberrystwyth. Really nice hotel, good food and beautiful views. We must have been near you Anne as we came back through Monmouth and down to Chepstow before coming home along the M4. Unfortunately it was raining when we wanted to stop for lunch near Tintern Abbey, so we ended up at a motorway service station.
Well no chance of getting the washing out today so will have to dig out the airer and dry indoors.
Hope everyone is OK
Linda :o) XxX

Oh well, famous last words, we had a horrendous thunderstorm this afternoon. A house at the back of my son got hit by lightening, and they had two fire engines there to put the fire out. Our garden was like a swimming pool, and my potted plant are wilting under the heavy rain that came down.
Linda, hows mum and dad doing now. And how are you enjoying your retirement now. I hope the giddy spells are under control now.
Sallie should be back with us soon, as I believe her family are going back home tomorrow.
Bye for now girls. Love Mo xxx

Mo, those red dots were only the little quakes that would not have been felt but were recorded by seismographs. I live just a bit south of the yellow patch, which is Auckland. We have in the past felt some quakes here, but not very big ones. It sounds as if you will have webbed feet like me, unless you wear your gummies (wellies) when you go outside. My lawn is an absolute bog with lots of small puddles where the steer trampled.

Hi all xx
well, I am thoroughly confused :-S
I went for the repeat mammogram this afternoon.
I had 5 mammograms over a period of 90 minutes
........... into the mammogram room, get undressed, have 3 taken, get dressed, go back to the waiting room, "we need to take another one", "can you wait another half-hour?", take 1 more, wait 15 minutes, take #5
The technician started by saying "pretty certain it's benign, but we need to be certain"
.......... then the last thing she said was that I could go, but I should make an appointment to see my family doctor ASAP
..................... the radiologist was going to take a closer look at the x-rays this evening, and the report would be at my doctor's by Thursday, so I should make an appointment for Thursday.
She said they still think benign, but thought a biopsy might be wanted / would be recommended.
It was too late to phone this afternoon, so I have to wait until tomorrow morning to see if I can get a Thursday appointment. The doctor’s office will be closed on Friday as it is a holiday (Canada Day), the next working day will be Monday ........ and that's the day the new residents start.
Things seem to be moving a bit fast ……. it usually takes 5-10 working days to get reports to the family doctor.
Plus the fact that the mammogram clinic have sent me for biopsies themselves in the past, they haven’t waited for the GP to do it!
As I said, I’m confused about what it means! :-S :-S

Fingers crossed Sylvia that all is OK. Sounds a right rigmerole though. At least it does seema s if they arebeing thorough. been through that myself, very stressful all the waiting isn't it. Fortunately after a biopsy mine was fine.
Linda, Chepstow is 40 minutes from us via the A48, or maybe a bit quicker via the M5 and the bridge.
Mo, Not had any thunderstorms here although it has gone off a lot cooler.

Such good news to hear that Jeff is home at long last. Our prayers answered for them both. One day at a time Jean, getting back into your old routine. Enjoy each others company, after having to be apart for such a long time. Love to you both.
Sylvia, god willing it will be the radiographers/ technicians being over cautious. Oh my word all that squishing and prodding, over a ninety minute period, must have left you pretty sore, a neccessity I know, but oh so painful.
Were you able to get an appointment with your doctor, for the day you need.
All is fine here, still sweating and swearing like ya do. Take care of yourselves, love Mo xxx

Hi all xx
Jean
what wonderful news! xxxx
Thank you all for your good wishes.
I have an appointment with a doctor in the family practise clinic for 2:30 pm Thursday afternoon (30th June) ...... not the one I have been seeing, but that's OK.
So I should know much more after that.
I think it will be sending me for a biopsy ....... but we're going away on the 9th July for almost 3 weeks, and I doubt they will fit the biopy in before that! So it look as though I shall have it hanging over my head until we come back from "back East".
s xx

I bought a new camera today. It cost a bit more than I had intended to spend, but it has 20x zoom which is twice what I had before. Now I have to work out how to set time and date on it.
