SALLIE, I need your email addy so I can send the photos, I have searched through everything but have only your postal address.
Must hang out the washing that I did 2 days ago. It started to rain as I was hanging it out then so it has been hung inside since then. I did light the fire last night so it is partly dry now, but there is nothing like fresh air and sunshine for drying clothes. I just hope I dont bring the rain on again.

Hello girls. Jean my love, our darts season has finished till October. But we start the knockouts in May. This is where we play to winners, of any club or pub that is in out league. We start with the team games (sixes), then go into pairs, then fours, and later we have the threes. I know it probably sounds complicated, but it's quite easy for us dart players to understand. LOL I think maybe you should do the lottery for a few weeks, as you can't have a little bet on us winning at the moment. You would stand more of a chance of a win that way.
My word Ann, has it been a whole month that you have been away.. Mind you, it will be nice to have you back amongst us again. It looks like you will be coming home to a few showers, as our fine weather has gone and left us for now.
Hi Jude, now you have found our little thread, please come back and chat to us sometimes, we are a friendly bunch, and love to hear each others news.
Huia, wheres me photo's then. Don't tell me you have lost my e.mail addy again, tut tut. Will you be watching the Royal Wedding tomorrow. I don't know if your news has been following the lead up to the occasion. People have been camping out on the pavements since early in the week. They have put their tents up, and got their sleeping bags with them. Nutters I call them, who in their right mind, would suffer so much discomfort. Royalists I suppose, but I would rather watch it on t.v, in the comfort of my own home, where I can go to the loo whenever I want, without fear of someone pinching all my gear when I wasn't there, or have a cuppa and have a hot meal inside me when I felt like it.
Caz, my son had Oramorph, when he had his back operation. He was allergic to the patches and the tablets. Now that sounds stupid doesn't it, when he could take it in liquid form. But I suppose no two people are the same are they. I hope you are rested today, after the trek to the hospital yesterday. I know how it takes it out on you love.
((((((((((HUGS FOR JOYCE))))))))))))) Take care my love, you are in my thoughts.
Love to you all.. Mo xxx

Hi all xxx
Caz ............... so pleased to hear your result! That was just wonderful.
It doesn't seem a month since Ann went away, does it?
Sorry I've been absent for a few days ............. the weekend was busy, I had physio on Tuesday and that often tires me out.
But then I came down with a miserable cold! I've managed to avoid getting one all winter, but now I've got a stinker. It's all on my chest, so I can't lie down or I start coughing, etc etc
I wasn't fit for man or beast yesterday ............. or even today, if it comes to it
I was reading threads on GR both days, and thought I must post when I saw you were worried.
I won't be watching the wedding ................ coverage starts at 11 pm tonight, with the ceremony being from 1 am
too early for me!
I do want to see her dress .... but will have to wait for the highlights in the evening on tv, or see if there is a web site, after I wake up!
take care everyone

Mo, I will be sending them to you soon. I was hoping to get Sallie's email addy so I could send the one email to all (BCC of course), as it takes so long to load the photos onto an email, but if anybody has her email address perhaps they could forward the photos to her.

I forgot to say, I am not sure if I will be watching the wedding. It will be on TV tonight from about 7.30 pm to after midnight. Perhaps I should watch, it might make me tired enough to drop asleep quickly.

Good morning one and all. Well this is a shock to the system, me being up at this time of the day, 7.15 a.m, and no, I didn't wet the bed. The washing machine is on, with my bedding whizzing round inside. I thought I would get it over and done with, before all the excitement starts. Oooh how sad am I. Roly is still fast asleep, and when he gets up, the t.v will be turned over, so I will enjoy watching all the nutters who camped out overnight, before he gets up. The crowds who are going to be watching the procession, are there for the atmosphere I know, but being a person who doesn't like crowds, I would feel claustrophobic (sp) so I am happier to watch at home.
Sylvia, I am sorry to hear you have got yourself a rotten cold. You may need to get yourself some anti-biotics if it has gone onto your chest love. Get your OH, to rub some Vick into your chest, it may make breathing a little easier for you.
Right I am going to get my breakfast now, speak to you all later.
Ooops sorry, hi there Jude nearly forgot to say hello to you love.

Jean, I dont 'get to' those places. Or at least the falls in the gorge I dont. They are beside the road that I drive to go to town and back. The Hunua falls I have to take a side road from the main road to town, but only about 3 km along it to the falls. It is about a 15 min drive from home. I sometimes go there just to have a walk in the bush, as we call our forest. I dont go far afield these days, just to Papkura to do my shopping and work in the hospice shop, and to Mangere (near the Auckland airport) to visit Phil. I dont think I have been further afield since last October when I minded my son's dogs, small horse and house near Rotorua for a long weekend while he was tramping.

Hello again girls. Didn't Catherine look lovely today. Not over dressed, but very very elegant. And Prince William was so handsome. I believe Princess Diana would be proud of how her son has turned out. I think that Harry takes after the Spencer side of the family, and is nothing like William, who is like his mother in looks and nature.
Thank you Huia for the pics. The rainbow in the falls, is a lovely scene, that you would expect to see fairies in as well. How deep is the water that the people were paddling in, near the water fall.
Going to make a nice cuppa tea now girls, see you later. Love Mo xxx

Mo, I dont know how deep the pool is, but I gather it is fairly deep where all the water lands all the time.
I watched the wedding last night, but it didnt help me to sleep. I didnt wait up after they went into Buck. house. The highlights will almost certainly be on the news tonight. The bride's dress was simple, but beautifully elegant.

Hello folks. Joyce, my son never met my dad, as he was born in the June, as I lost my dad in the April. Yet when he was very young, he told us so many things about my dad, he could never have known. We would hear him chattering away to himself in his bedroom, and when we asked him who he was talking to, he described my dad to a T, even to the point of dad smoking his pipe, which he had given up, many years before we lost him. When our son got to be about five, he stopped talking to his invisable friend. But we are convinced that dad came and looked after him for us,when we were not around. I feel pretty sure that even though, the family will not feel your daughters presence, the baby will. She will love this child, and nurture it from beyond everyones eyes. She can rest in peace now love, and would want you to do the same, as she is probably willing you to do. A lot of people, will probably poo poo my ideas, but I do believe in life after death, even though there is no real evidence of it. But each to their own I say.
Jean my love, have faith and strength, in the belief that you are going to be fine. Whatever life has thrown at you, you have been one very strong lady, and will continue to be. You know whatever the outcome of the results, we are all behind you, praying for you, and sending you our heart felt thoughts and best wishes. Please try not to worry yourself to much, I know this is easier said than done, don't allow your mind to take over, push it to one side and think positive honey.
I will be back later, I have just bought two lovely Clematis plants, and want to get them into the pots before they dry out. They are sitting in the sink at the moment, having a lovely drink of water. Bye for now. Love Mo xxx
