I late again today, I've been busy making birthday cards, we have ten birthdays in March, and most of them men....it's difficult knowing what kind of card to make for some of them, a couple of them don't like sport and some don't have a hobby either. Apart from cars, there isn't much else I can use...I like to try and make a card with something that at least they are interested in.
Mo, sorry you didn't enjoy the meal out for your granddaughter's birthday. It's a shame you didn't go to the retaurant that you normally go to, but as you say, it was your granddaughter's choice. At least you know not to go there another time.
Alun and I also take ages to decorate now, we have a couple of rooms that need freshening up, but at the moment neither of us feel like starting to do it.
Alun and Michael were at the clubs Model Railway Show today, so we didn't have our Sunday roast. Both of them had a free hot meal there, so both Jennie and I each made something for ourselves.
Sylvia, hope you don't get anymore snow from now on. You and OH don't go out unless you have to, and take care you don't slip, if you do.
I would love to the photo of MJ please, so I'll send you my e-mail addy.
I hope Ann and T have arrived home safely, and that they had a good journey.
I'm very worried and concerned about Joyce, she rang me yesterday and she was in a real state because she's sure she will be deported within the next week or so. She has to renew her permit to live in Holland and has it's gone up so much, they haven't got the money to pay for it. They asked the authorities if they could pay it over two months, but they were told no, it had to be paid in one payment. She's worried sick, as she doesn't want to come back to the UK to live without Jan. As she says, he's her rock, and she wouldn't be able to manage without him.
Tomorrow, both her and Jan are hoping that they can get an appointment to see the doctor.....Jan is in agony with the pain in his back, and can hardly move. Let's hope that the doctor can give them both something to help them with the pain.
Marie, lovely to hear from you. I hope that your leg will be better soon. It's awful for the people of Christchurch, NZ, losing family, friends, homes and their livelihood.I feel so very sorry for them all.
Well ladies, I'll speak to you all tomorrow. Take care everyone.
Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Good morning all, Mo it is infuriating isn't it when a large service charge is added to the bill. I actually think that if you are not satisfied with the meal you ar entitled not to pay it, it is in fact a tip. But you'd have to be pretty strong minded not to mind the fuss that would cause.
Sylvia I will send you my e mail addy.
Sallie, it is worrying about Joyce and seems really unfair that Dutch nationals are not treated like that in this country, well I assume they are not. I suppose, knowing now that it will come up again in five years, if they can manage to pay this one it would be wise to try and set a small amount aside each month for the next payment.
Joyce you do so much for your children and grandchildren can none of them help you with a temporary loan?
Well I have got washing in, I have just run full scans on this PC to make sure everything is OK because people on here were talking about viruses last night. Nothing on my computer thankfully.

Hi girls. It's blessed freezing cold here in Kent today. I walked up to my docors this afternoon, and i'll tell you what, there were no brass monkeys about brrrr. Well it turns out that my problem with my upper ribs, is to do with our good ol friend Arthritus. Doc has given me some Celebrex anti inflamatories, to take when it gets really painful. So thank the lord it's nothing worse than that.
Poor Joyce she has enough to cope with, without all the worry about her permit to live in Holland. I didn't know that they had to renew it every five years, I just assumed that as Joyce is Jans partner, she would be entitled to automatically live there. Shows how much of a sheltered life I lead doesn't it. I just hope and pray, that there is some resolution for them both. I do hope that both of them get on o.k at the doctors today it's such a worry.
Ann, I ran a scan on my laptop last night, when the warning came up on the boards, and it showed no problems either. I left it up to my children to sort out the bill for our meal on Friday night, we just coughed up the cash. lol Did you have a good journey home from Derby yesterday?
Jean, how did you get on at the doctors today, re the Vertigo. Thank you for the anniversay wishes, we are going to be celebrating tomorrow, and going out for a NICE meal. As far as I am concerned, we married the day after the 28th February, so my celebrations start then, even though Roly thinks it should be today, I am sure we will never agree on the subject. Trust us to have married in a leap year. lol Anyway, it's your anniversary soon isn't it, somehow the 3rd of March rings a bell.
Well girls, I have to go now. I must start dinner in a bit, Scampi and chips tonight. Bye for now, love to all, Mo xxx

Happy anniversary for tomorrow Mo xxxx
we've now got "changeable weather" ..... rain, sun, sleet, possible white stuff "at higher levels", etc etc
MJ has his first day at the day care on Wednesday!
M has to return to work the day after MJ turns 1, but also has to go in a couple of days this week to do "things" ......... so they're using it as a slow ease-in to the day care for MJ
It's a private daycare, with a maximum of 8 children at any one time. J has visted several times, and is very impressed with what she's seen ..... and it came with excellent references, by word-of-mouth.

the photographer was brilliant!
Only a young woman, maybe as young as early 20s ................. she concentrated on MJ, talked to him, kept saying his name, and he responded so well to her.
He is a smiler, anyway!

Joyce, I got a bit confused there. (I am easily confused these days). Do you mean that it is your younger son who has not paid the money to the funeral directors? Or your ex husband? I know you automatically take on the worries of your family but if the money has not been paid the funeral directors will take it up with whoever should have paid it. Do try not to concern yourself with it. You have enough to worry about. I can understand Jan getting annoyed.

Joyce just tell your granddaughter that she should make sure the funeral people know who is responsible for the bill then nobody should be phoning anyone else up but them. Actually the money should have been paid over immediately he was given it. He has no right to spend money that is not his. But there you go Joyce, their problem, definitely not yours.

Hello Ladies,
First of all, Happy Anniversary Mo and Roly. I hope that you have both had a lovely day. Are you going out to celebrate?
Sorry to hear that you have arthritis Mo, but as you said, the test results could have been a lot worse.
Sylvia, thank you for the photos, they are lovely. You all look happy on them, MJ looks such a happy, contented little boy, he is gorgeous. Sending him lots of hugs and kisses. Xxxxxx
I hope you that the snow and ice you had have gone, and that it is a bit warmer with you now. It’s cold and cloudy here in Derbyshire, it will be nice to see some lovely spring weather.
Joyce, I agree with Ann, that your granddaughter must get in touch with the funeral directors, and give them the details of the person that has the money and is responsible for paying the bill. Getting the phone calls from these people isn’t fair on her, she has enough to worry about especially with her daughter having to come to Nottingham, for a kidney biopsy. I hope Jan is feeling a little bit better today and able to move about a bit more. As Jan has said, you have enough things to worry about yourself, without hearing about all that’s going on over in Liverpool.
Ann, I was pleased to hear that you and T had a good weekend with your daughter and her family.
Jean, do you know roughly how long you’ll have to wait before you see the ENT Specialist? I hope it won’t be too long.
Caz, Marie, Huia and Liz I’m thinking about you all.
Well, girls I’m going to get on with making some more cards now. I’ve got bitten by the bug once more .lolol!!
I’ll speak to you all soon. Take care, everyone.
Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Good evening girls. Well what a wonderful anniversary we have had. Thank you all for the congratulations. We had a loverly meal this evening, and I am now well and truly stuffed. It's absolutely freezing cold outside, and I am so glad to be back home in the warm again.
Joyce, I agree totally with what the others have said, re your daughters funeral payment. If your ex husband ,gave the money to your grandson to pay the bill, then it's up to the family at this end to sort it out with the grandson and undertakers. Not your grandaughter who has enough on her plate at the moment, and definately not you.
Well, well, well girls, that was a surprise our Marilyn popping in from the U.S.A. to see us. She's one lucky lady, having all these holidays.
Ooops got to go, daughter has just dropped in, bye for now Love Mo xxx
