Hello All, but particularly Jean. I hope that all goes well tomorrow for J and that his recovery is swift. If the amount of good wishes on here could be turned into good health he will be up and about in no time.
Thinking of you both.

Just a quick update for you all. Jean has pm'd me. She managed to see J tonight. He went down to theater at 9a.m and came out at 2p.m. He cannot have anything to eat or drink, just yet. And will see the consultant tommorrow. Bless him he has tubes and drips, and poor Jean was quite shocked when she saw him. And is pretty upset herself,so she asked me to let you all know, how it went. Bless you Jean,we are all here for you. And you are both in our thoughts. Goodnight all, speak to you tommorrow. Love to our Jean xxx Mo

Hello Jean, thank you for the update. I am glad J is showing signs of improvement. We have not heard from Marie in ages, but she now goes on Face book. As if I remember correctly, she told me,a member of her family set it up for her. I personally,do not go on that site,so am unable to contact her that way. I hope you have a lovely rest tonight,to build your strength up for when J comes home. Take care. I hope everyone is well. Thanks for adding Sylvia, and keeping the thread up near the top of the boards. Love to all. Mo xxx

Moring All, I hope everybody is fit and well and enjoying the same glorious weather that we are having at the moment.
Jean, it's lovely to hear that J came through his op successfully. Now you need to get your strength up in order to be able to help him when he gets home. Take care, the pair of you.
Half Term has passed quickly and reasonably uneventfully. My eldest has been fishing every day. Today he and 3 friends are on a castle in the sea. They walked over the causeway at low tide at 6am, and won't be able to get back until the tide starts going down again later thisafternoon. They have taken a small BBQ and already cooked sausages for their breakfast.
The youngest 2 are on a Sports course all week, and coming home every day thoroughly exhausted but happy. And my other son has spent time with me and out cycling with his firends. He is going to some jumps on his bike today with a crowd from school.
So all well in this household. Hope you all are too. Best wishes to everyone.

Evening all,how are we this lovely summers evening. What a lovely day we have had again. I hope the boys got back safe from their adventure,at the castle in the sea. You have made me think of Enid Blyton, and her adventures of the famous five books. Oh they were the days, young free and not a care in the world. I know one thing, and that is that the children seem to have more holidays nowadays, than we did when young. But the authorities changed the school term times didn't they Debbie? Thank goodness for the clubs that go on during the holidays for the children. Some of my grandchildren attend them, and have a great time there. There has been no news from Jean today yet, about how J is. So I am thinking no news is good news. I made a big boo boo, yesterday. We went to buy two new quilt covers, and they had a size I had never heard of before, super kingsize. So I asked the assisstant what the difference is between,a king size and a super kingsize And her responce, quite straight faced was,six inches, and she just walked away. Now I might appear to be thick, but I had never even heard of a quilt cover that size before. And that woman was so condescending,I felt a real fool for asking. We were taught that the customer is always right, even when they were wrong, and to be polite and civil to everyone. But hey times they are a changing. Well girls,I hope you are all well, and I will speak to you again soon. Love Mo xxx

Morning peeps, sunshine at last !!!! love it... but , theres always a but......my flippin feet are like two footballs, never had swollen ankles before the water tabs work but with going to the hospital twice a day, is begining to tell its toll, last night I was so tired I could hardly walk, so I am not going this afternoon daughter and grandson are doing the visit...... J is doing really well, he can now get into the bathroom, with all the trailing wires and stuff, they are going to divest him of some today.....he has also been allowed 1/2 cup of water, no foods as yet, so if theres is no side effects, he may get some soup today,,, and.....if he continues improving may come home end of next week !!!!!!!!! my loony daughter took photos of him in all his regalia, so he can see what he looked like ..ugh......
Debbie your young folk seem so talented , it must be lovely watching them and hearing of there activities, J was a very good athlete in his younger days, champion boy at high jump and track events,I used to go and watch, he looked so fit in his little shorts ROFL !!!!
Sallie,Thank you for your support and love, hope all is well with you....
And, My friend Mo, what are you like , my mind is working overtime, wondering are two beds in one room and how big are they super king size, never heard of that lol, You should have accidently bumped into her on the way out or at least stood on her foot.....better go or this will get whoosed...take care all.
love Jean xx

Morning All, Jean, it's great to hear such positive news from the Hospital. Fingers crossed for continued progress. Look after those aching feet of yours, keep them elevated whenever you can and also a soak in warm water can help wonders. It also means that you have to sit and do nothing for a while. Bliss :-))
Mo, we use Super King Sized bedding. We have a King sized bed and like to make sure we are well tucked in and covered so we use bedding the size larger. A friend of mine actually has a super king sized bed, but I wouldn't go to that extreme. Our King size is adequate, even with all the children bouncing around on it first thing in the morning. I have always used bedding a size up from the size of the bed, to ensure "all round coverage" Lovely in the winter.
All well here today. Been to a car boot and bought new puzzles for the little ones, going to get new fishing gear and bait now as there is a Junior Angling competition tomorrow, which all the children want to enter. Daniel did well on his trip to the castle yesterday and caught quite a lot of different fish. A good experience and keeps the youngsters off the streets.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Oh Jean, what good news about J,I am sooooo pleased for you. As Debbie said, elevate your feet, and get some rest. I dont suppose this hot weather will do your feet much good either. Strip of to your bikini, get in the hammock and relax. Good grief listen to me,the sun would definately go in, in fright if I was to put a bikini on. In fact I have never worn one,I was never that brave. lol To answer your curiosity Jean,we have seperate beds, both double beds with kingsize quilts,in different rooms. Roly can snore for England, hence the seperate rooms. At least that way,we both get a good nights sleep. But I can honestly say,I had never heard of super kingsize. I was just so glad Roly was with me that day,as I could not keep a straight face,my mind was really working overtime, with that womans six inches, naughty me. I love car booties Debbie. You can get such good bargains there. Especially plants that people grow from seedlings. I must say your family sound wonderful. They sound like they can entertain themselves very well,on their own,and not have to resort to game stations all the time. Hello to you Sallie,if you are looking in. Well girls,I will love you and leave you for now,it's chinese for dinner,so I am just going to tuck in. Love to all. Mo xxx

Hi All
Glad to read everyone is well.
Great weather we are having been in the garden playing with youngest most days, even got my teenager out from his room to enjoy the sun. He spends his life on his x box talking with his mates. I have to make him arrange to go up the park for a kick around.
Training day from school today so have booked a family trip to the dentist ( Hopefully youngset will show his teeth this time).
Going for a family day out at the zoo at the weekend as I have got a day off. Little one has never been so doing a picnic hope the weather keeps nice. Eldest isnt looking forward to it but hard to do things we all like when the age gap is so big. Never mind sure he will get what he wants next time, he might even have fun.
Mo you make me laugh with your Husbands snoring , mine is just the same and when the children leave home we will have a room each. Not that I ready to let go to my kids yet. Just keep telling OH to turn over.
Bye to all Sue
