Hi DM
When it rains it pours doesn' it?
You are going through the mill at the moment.
I do hope your Mum's Op goes Ok and that she will be home soon.

Please take care of yourself and don't worry about sleeping it's one of the best remedies back to good health.

Glad you persuaded your mum not to delay her op & I hope it goes well for her.
The sparrows were arguing as usual over the feeder this morning.

Morning D

I saw birds splashing and a dipping in my bird bath the other day, no idea what they were lol.

Cass is still digging holes to Australia, gosh ... he'd have been invaluable when the gold rush was on!

Tis a beautiful day here, sun shining brightly, chilly but pretty.

Thinking of you, your mum ... keep sleeping, tis the way to get well, perhaps write a list when you are able then if you are asleep others will know what to do, won't have to disturb you.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((gentle hug)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Off to do OH's CV,

Luv 'n hugs

(~ to Diane)

Hi all,

Thanks for all the new comments. Am sleeping for England at present but I've got to get myself mega-organised now because my Mum's going into hospital today for a hip replacement. She wanted to cancel it but she'd be waiting Heaven knows how long to get another slot so I told her to just go and we'd manage everything somehow. Got the Friend + Neighbour Army lined up so all I've really got to do is delegate - if I can stay awake long enough! Having some very weird dreams at the moment.

Hi Dormouse,
So glad you've had a good nights sleep & you have lots of people around you, to help whilst you're recovering.
Just to let you know I saw a blackcap this morning. He wouldn't venture into my garden. Time I saw him he spent his time, near to the fence in next doors brambles.

..........................*digs up garden & plants brambles*....lol

Hello one and all,

Actually slept last night - hurray!
Had a long chat with the warfarin nurse this morning - I said I was still feeling very breathless and she said that's because the clots will take up to four weeks to disperse and I must not do anything even remotely strenuous for at least two weeks.
There is little chance of that as there is a whole team of friends and neighbours monitoring my every move and offering to do things................ and very grateful I am too. I now have a Vacuuming Person, an Ironing Person, a Cooking Assistant.................... it's wonderful!

Shimms - thankyou for all the PMs, the emails and the card through the post - am touched by your kindness and friendship.

Off for my afternoon nap now - perhaps I should call it a siesta (sounds more exotic!)
