Still sending positive thoughts to you Dormouse and missing your input to the bird thread. On the way to Hampshire yesterday, driving across country near Newbury a small deer ventured onto the verge in front of us, frightened it was about to leap across the road which was quite busy, OH hooted and it bounced back into the woods where it had come from.

Daughter gets a lot of birds feeding in her garden so we sat watching them this morning, blue tits, greenfinches, goldfinches, coal tits and a robin, they do often see woodpeckers too but not so far this weekend.

Get well soon.

Hi Dormouse,
I hope you are recovering well. Look forward to seeing you posting on the boards again in the near future.

Spring is in the air here in Chelmsford. Had a walk in the park today, air full of bird song. Even saw a tree creeper, first I seen in years.

Morning everyone

Forgive me, twas my son's 19th birthday yesterday, have just realized I didn't come here to update you all.

News was good yesterday, D seems to be doing well, fingers crossed will be home very very soon; I don't want to tempt fate so won't say when they hope she will be, am just crossing my fingers and hoping.

All your loving, caring messages are on our gift to her; I've included a Greenfinch, birds from Oz, Stevie's Treecreeper, butterfly, so many that have been mentioned here.

Thank you so much everyone, the doc is now up to Pg 18.

Morning D

Tis such a glorious day, the sun is spreading like a blanket down my garden covering everything it reaches in such brightness, tis as though someone has come out and cleaned all the windows lol. :))

Just remembering a very special place in South Wales where we used to have such happy times and would always take Joey the Toucan some special cake from my Auntie and Uncle with a message from them. Have included a piccie of one ... am smiling at the memories.

Crossing my fingers you'll be home very very soon,

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((big big hug))))))))))))))))))))))))

Always in my thoughts, take care my love.

Hi Doremouse,
lovely to hear that you might be home soon .
i am watching the sparrows in my neighbours front garden
she has a horthorn bush (i think its horthorn lol) anyway they are playing catch ....one sparrow will fly across to another neighbours bush
then the rest of the birds will follow then back again and the noise of them twittering you should hear them lol .
OH and me have been watching two magpies building their nest in a popoular tree which is in the park just across from us , it started off quite small but then as the baby chicks hatched they had to make it bigger so now its quite big we see them going backwards and forwards feeding their young , i dont think it will be long before the young ones leave the nest now .
still have my fingers crossed for you .
take care .
