Update 3

Hi everyone

Dormouse is being pumped full of Warfarin, will be having her scan anytime between now and 2.00pm, it may be later depends.

Her family are so worried, your messages will comfort them too, show them how cared for she is.

Am busy creating a pretty document for her at the moment ...

Any news about birds like BC's (thank you so much) will make her smile. Me, I know nothing, only sparrows and ... well, perhaps just a few more! :)) xxx

Hi again Dormouse and thank you Shimms for the update.

Birds I have some Beautiful Rainbow Lorikeets in the tree outside my back door as we speak. They always come around just before dusk. What a noise they make but what beautiful birds they are. Just a few of them are quite tame and will come down for a drink of water that I leave for them in an Ice Cream container. Wish I could feed them but it is illegal here in West Australia. I also get Pink and Grey Galahs, Twenty Eights, (Types of Parrots) and dozens of doves in my Garden. The doves caw all morning and sometimes I whistle to them and they will echo me back. Hubby thinks I'm crazy lol

Hope your treatment is going well
Take Care
Hugs
Jackie

LATEST UPDATE

D has a cluster of clots in her lung, has been moved to Haemotology ... touch wood, and I am, trust me, she may be discharged, able to return home in a weeks time.

Crossing my fingers, praying too,

Please keep all your wonderful messages coming through. Yesterday I prepared a gift from us all which became 13-14 pages of loving messages with pretty birds and more.

Each page has a green/blue border with the tables containing your messages in blue/green. Central is a bird, with your message underneath; everyone has their own individual 'box' with their message in Lucida handwriting (blue ink).

The front cover says:

Get Well Soon Dormouse (in Word Art banner formation)

Underneath I pasted a beautiful circular piccie of a Dormouse nibbling, I think, red/blackcurrants with straw, leaves and other pretty things in the background surrounding it.

Under that are the words: (centred)

From all your friends on Genes Reunited
With love
February 25th 2009

I've forwarded them to one of her sisters who will print them off, take them in for her. I'll keep adding all your messages as they appear here, send those on too. Twill be like an ongoing card from us all.

Bless, do miss her. Thank you everyone, luvinu all
