That must be terrifying for everyone in the area.

I hope Mick is safe and the fires are put out very soon without any loss of life

Spoke to my 3 sisters in OZ on Thursday and they had made a donation in memory of our brother (his funeral this week here in England) to the Australian Bush Fire Fighters as they are all volunteers. My brother was a retired Fireman.

Hope Mick and family keep safe.

Gawd, that must be really scary. Fire terrifies me!

When I was in Australia I saw acre upon acre that had been destroyed by wild fires, it was really eerie.

I hope he stays safe and the fire is diverted away from where he is.

He is in direct line of bush fires today, and is in danger.

Fingers crossed that the authorities can keep it under control. Mick was at a meeting last night (aussie time) to discuss what to do, how to get out, how to fight the fires etc.
