Anyone watch it? I felt every bump as they fell when learning to skate for the first time. Can't help feeling that Todd Carty is ITV's answer to John Sargeant!! But thought that Ray was way above all the others. |

Stray, yes I thought Ray was cocky but he was good too, shows the difference it makes if you are a confident youngster rather than a 45 year old. Todd may be saved by the public, like John Sargeant though |

Have to agree with you. Todd Carty was rubbish but he had so much support from the studio audience I think he will be saved when it comes to the public vote. |

Well a predictable result. Shame really as the two in the skate off were better than Todd Carty, but that's what these programmes are all about - the public vote. |

Yes, predictable, can only hope he will improve over the next two weeks. Doesn't seem fair but i think we are used to the procedure now and it is being known that counts. |

So what is the verdict this week? Who will go out? should be Coleen but will she get the sympathy vote? |

I quite like the programme and usually watch it but not with the same enthusiasm as I do 'Strictly'. I was surprised in a way that Coleen survived as I genuinely thought she was the least able skater, but on the other hand she most probably has a massive fan base from her Loose Women programme where she has admitted that she is indeed terrified. And as for her being 'solid/chunky' or whatever - she has apparently lost a couple of stone !! Anyone seen her Discoburn video? I shall take a look at Mondays Loose Women to see what she has to say about her debut on ice. I agreed that the girl in pink - Gemma? - was the second less able skater but always feel sorry for the first person who goes out. All that hard work for just one routine, seems a shame but someone has to go. Next week should be interesting as the boys and girls get together to fight it out with a prediction that probably Todd and Coleen will be the less accomplished skaters again but.... will they escape the skate-off? Interesting. |

Gemma didn't take defeat well at all did she. But I think, as you say, they should have one public appearance with nobody going out to give them a chance at getting their public 'ice feet'!. Gemma wasn't that good but she was not worse than Coleen. I think her disappointment was that it became a competition between her and Roxanne, East Enders versus Emmerdale. |

I just saw the first show on Saturday when it was repeated, as I was watching the darts last week. |
