I have found a number of men with the Christian name 'Mister' in my husband's family tree, which sparked off quite a debate in another board. However, having followed this through and found a number more I just checked for other titles as Christian names and have found lots of Master, Masters & Mastermans. One of these Masters has a mother with the maiden name Marriner! Does anyone know where information about this kind of thing can be found? I did a search and found a few sites but they don't seem to help in this instance. |
