good to see you on here Jill we missed you.

Hi Ladies, Ann got me a link back to here as been having problems getting on this site as it keeps freezing on me.
Been very busy with the craft workshops and they are going very well, keeps me on my toes as learning lots of new styles to keep ahead :))
Will be in the UK on the 12th for a few days as staying with the lady who runs Time for Crafting and going up to the craft barn for a demo and work shop weekend. I am coming across with a friend so it should be a fun few days and will come with an empty case so that I can but lots of craft goodies and a few bits from M&S :))

Just been in touch with Jill, she has not been able to get on the site and has been busy. She is OK though.

I have been very good today, made five cards. Not made so many lately as I had a stock and wanted to get on with scrap booking.
I prefer to make several at a time though.

Jo what a nuisance having to wait so long for your appointment, I know they cancelled a lot due to swine flu but think they may have gone over the top, don't think that many have been hospitalised have they?

Ann, have even written to the manufacturers to see if they could recommend anything but they said as it was an old one they were not planning to make any old ones compatible with vista!! So will be off to look for a new one soon.

Hospital cancelled my appointment with the consultant due to swine flu at the beginning of August and now have to wait till the end of September!

At least the weather has been nice today.

Sylvia you asked how Jill is, I did have a birthday card from her but she was not in touch re the book group so i don't know if that is because she is busy or what. maybe somebody else knows.

heather, glad you are catching up with the card making, I always find it relaxing and thereupetic. (is that spelled right?)

Jo, sorry that you still have vertigo problems, that does seem to be going on for a long time. Did you check if there was a patch that you could download for your printer to make it compatible with vista? Luckily there are some very cheap printers on the market at the moment in places like Tesco.

The ATC swap for September is - Autumn/Harvest due in by the 14th .

Heather lovely to hear that you are getting back into card making, missing making mine at the moment have not done anything since the vertigo got bad, also no printer at the moment mine is not vista compatible so need to get a new one.
Hopefully will get back to making some soon. Good job I made all the Groups cards a few weeks ago.

Mixed weather here today sunshine, rain, sunshine, rain on and off all day.

Sorry to hear about the cystitis Sylvia, such a misreable thing to suffer from. I hope you can find a cure for it. What a shame you had to cut your holiday short though.

Hi all,
Sorry to have been letting the side down lately but my health is not improving. Johan and I had a few days away and I had cystitis from the first day and so much pain we had to come home. The same old story with another cure. I have to go to the neurologist soon so hope they can find out something then, until then lots of paracetamol with codeine tabletten.

It is possible we have to change again though because Johan is not happy with some of the things kpn do.
Sorry to have sent out birthday cards weeks ahead but with going away thought it best.
Johan and I went into our daughter's house in Eindhoven whilst she is in Italy and from their went to Maastricht and stayed in a hotel for 3 nights. Maastricht is a lovely old town on the river Maas. We took an old tram round the town and a boat trip up the river. Lots of cobbled streets which made it rather bumpy on our scootmobile. We took the folding scootmobile with us. At least we managed to achieve something in the way of a holiday.

Sorry to hear the vertigo is bad Jo, I thought it was improving for you. What does the doc say? Hope you can soon find a cure for it.

Have sent out an email regarding Heather and the change of address for Barbara, bit worried as the email to Sylvia bounced, anyone know if she has changed her email recently, hope she is OK
Will get on as often as I can but vertigo is pretty bad at the moment.

Might consider stitching the beads, looks a bit fiddly though, and need good eyesight.

Please thank Anne for her card it arrived today, and was not the only one - no worries, it is nice to get some later, makes it last longer.
