Hi all, You've not seen me around so much, that's right, but I do have my ATC cards finished. Now to get to the Post Office to post them. It will proably be on Friday when I go to the market, if the weather is not too bad. I'm now getting rid of a lot of household things I don't use, or rarely use. My youngest daughter has done this too. We have a good site called Marktplaats and it costs nothing to sell your goods. Johan has been taking lots of photos today, now I have to make up the texts! The weather is pretty awful today, wind and rain, nowhere near like Spring should be. See you tomorrow. Sylvia xxx

Evening everyone, hope you had a lovely Mothers day, for those of you that it applied to, not sure about Jill and Sylvia. Me I had a lovely day with 15 for a very late lunch and that doesn't include the dogs and pups they brought with them.
Weather here seems to be frosty nights, misty mornings then the sun comes out for about 4 hours then it get overcast and very cold again.
Will try and think of something for the ATC swap tomorrow.
Sitting on the sofa, hubby is asleep snoring and my dog is laying across my feet snoring its like stereo.!!

Hi all, Have been busy baking again. This time ready for Johan's birthday tomorrow. Started my ATC cards but no time to finish them, but will be ok in the week. What fantastic weather we are having, aren't we? Mind you, we are still getting ground frost of some 4-5 degrees, but that sun is gorgeous when it comes out. Must wrap up Johan's birthday presents and do my nails tonight, and might even have an early night. Well earliesh. Usually go to bed around 1.30 - 2.00 am. Can do some decoupage in the sitting room with the television on. Nice to see that you can access this thread again Jill and to hear everything is going hunky dunky with your classes. You ought to get the local Press in to take some photos! Have a nice evening everybody. Sylvia xxx

Good morning to you all from a lovely sunny Maine et Loire, been a lovely week and Spring is now here for real. Congratulatons to Sylvia and Johan on your wedding anniversary ,53 years is great. I think that itsa day of rugby on the tv so can hide myself in the craftroom and make some cards. I do not get any done when its the craft groups so need to keep on top and try out a few different templates that I can use at a later date. Have a good weekend

Hi all, Yes, Anne, and wouldn't you keep it quiet - 53 years, makes me feel so old and really I'm on top of the world at the moment, not much grey in the hair either. My mother also was not grey until very late. Today I've baked a chocolate cake ready for my daughter and granddaughter coming tomorrow. This afternoon my neighbour came downstairs for a chat. I'm glad that Johan was out at the library, as I feel that I don't have much time for a woman to woman chat these days as he is always there, or rather here, joining in. The weather still fine during the day but freezing at night. See you tomorrow. Sylvia xxx

Hi, folks,
Jill, your clesses sound good fun. It's good to craft with other people. The local library here have a 'workshop' about one a term, but i couldn't make the one this term, and I heard that it was underbooked so would be cancelled.
I was in the garden yesterday, it was lovely. I mowed the lawn (hard work), and looked at the fruit bushes, but was scratched to pieces by the goosberry bush.
I'm hoping to spend some time in the garden tomorrow before the weather turns colder again.
Love
Anne

Congratulations Sylvia, you kept that quiet. Lovely to here you had a lovely evening with your daughter. Wind was quite cold here today, sun also disappeared need my big padded waterproof coat today when I took the dog for a walk.
Sylvia a message on FTF for you from Jacqui - Sylvia your beautiful card arrived today thank you. It does feel a bit like condolences have taken over from birthdays this year doesn't it. I guess that is the way it goes as you get more mature.
Have sent out an email regarding the ATC swaps hope you all received it OK.

Hi all, Well we have been married 53 years today. Nothing special happened until this evening and then my youngest daughter and her husband turned up with lots of beautiful flowers. We sat and laughed and talked the whole evening. Yes, we have had a lovely evening. I popped out during the day for some shopping but although the sun was shining there was still this biting cold wind. Johan is going to the library in town tomorrow and wanted me to join him, but I've said it is too cold, I'll wait until the weather gets a bit warmer before I just go to the shops for something to do. My eldest daughter and my granddaughter are coming on Thursday sometime during the day. See you tomorrow. Sylvia xxx

Afternoon ladies, well what a lovely weekend, hope you all enjoyed yours. Weather again today is lovely and sunny and the wind has now dropped. Everywhere feels so different with the sun shining.
Jill lovely that your lambs are doing well and Mums are able to take care of them to save you bottle feeding. Sounds like the craft classes are going well, if you need any different iris patterns that I have let me know, or if you want any stitching patterns, can send them on to you.
Ann, I agree you cannot take it with you and as we don't know when that day will be, I believe in living for today!!
Will send out about the ATC swap probably tomorrow.
Have a good week. Hugs Joxx

Good Morning to you all from a sunny Maine et Loire.Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and are feeling good. Ann, what a lovely thought, eternity spent in a well equipped craft room :)) Spent yesterday cutting iris folding templates out ready for Fridays group, did two of each but bet three want the same design! Need something to do thats not involved with cutting knives and glue as have a one off larger class and need to use my new kitchen table as it will seat the 8 or 9 of us.Upstairs I can seat 6 but do have another seat at a smaller table but will be a bit squashed . Need to finish a further 10 wedding invites today and getting bored with them, must plod on.

you are welcome Jill, glad the classes are going well.
Slvia, somebody said to me (I think it may have been Vods), there are no pockets in a shroud. If you want a cuttlebug and can afford it buy it, you will definitely not be able to get one in the hereafter. well not as far as I know. Now there's a thought. Maybe heaven will be somewhere we can continually do craft work without interruptions.

Hi all, So Ann going on holiday and then buying a cuttlebug. I thought there was a recession hahaha. You enjoy life while you can. I do. I am also tempted to buy a cuttlebug, but then I'm a bit older than you, so how much use will I have out of it. who knows, only God knows! I haven't baked bread since Xmas, so thought today it was time I did again. I also made toad in the hole, which I haven't made for a long long time. Yesterday I bought lots and lots of primulas and a few narcissus bulbs. My sitting room is now ready for visitors. It has been raining on and off all day, but then when I am busy cooking I don't mind. Have a nice evening. Sylvia xxx

Good morning to you all and thanks for the link Ann. Craft class went very well yesterday and managed to end the lesson almost on time, been going over by up to 90 mins the last couple of weeks :)) All three lambs are doing well and it has been sunny and warm over here, feel that winter is over now at last. Still very quiet with the Gite with the bookings just starting to come in, hope the exchange rate does not put people off.
Hope you all have a good weekend

Good morning all.
Ann , the cuttlebug is my fave craft addition and it does take dies from some other makes. The embossing folders are very useful and always waiting for new ones :))
We have three lambs in total now and no bottles to make up, brilliant !!!! Classes going well with 6 ladies and gents here this afternoon, one of my Tuesday ladies goes to another class on Fridays but is going to come to mine every other week as well as Tuesdays as she feels she gets more done in mine. Really pleased with how its taken off and at last my mountain of craft is paying its way :)) We only have English at the moment but hope I can get a few french ladies interested but the French are not into cards like we are. Might have to do a scrap-booking day instead. Have we a theme for the ATC and a date ?
xx Jill

From Joan - For Ann in Glos - I have a Big Shot and find it very easy to use. All makes of dies and embossing folders go through it without a problem.
Hope you all received the email regarding the new member and new spread sheets. Joxx

Ann, Wendy said - I have a Wizard and yes it is very hard to use, so I bought a Cuttlebug and it is great. So easy to use and all my Wizard dies will go through it as well, so not wasted.
Jac said - I love my cuttlebug I find it easy to use and the embossing folders are great plus it takes dies from other machines.I like the portability of it also.Have no idea how much they are in the UK.
What I meant was the dies are C6 size would live 5x7 some dies you can repeat and they match up. I have not tried other dies, as not that experienced with it, but I know Vicky and Wendy have both used other dies. Joxx

Do you mean the dies are too big or too small Jo? does the cuttlebug take dies from other machines? Like Xcut,Sizzlet etc?
