Penny-well done for maintaining your weight loss, you obviously know what to do.

Tina-thank you for your encouragement.I'm back on the Duromine now-5weeks to go before my trip-so I have to stay focused, and eat healthily.
Tina-don't be discouraged-2 lbs. is not a lot to lose.I'm sure you can do it!

Good luck to everyone else.

Margot,

Hi I am here as promised 2 weeks from my last posting and guess what I went to the nurse today and the 2 lbs has gone back on in the last 2 weeks so I am still the same as before xmas which is so dissapointing BUT I knew that I hadn't lost anything.
Last year I was so focused but I can't get into it since Xmas, it isn't easy I have so much more to loose. The trouble is I feel good due to the weight I lost last year and feel comfortable buying smaller clothes, it's like my body is saying thats it then girl!!! But I hope to be able to get back into it, the nurse is very good and doesn't tell me off too much!!!!

Hope others are getting on OK
Margot you have got great trip to focus on, keep it up and I am sure you will get there!!!
Best wishes to al

Hi

I have stayed the same since Christmas. I did though get a mention at my Rosemary Conley class on Monday - congratulating me for maintaining my weight!
I have lost 3 1/2 stone in total in 2 years.

Hi guys,

Where are you all??? Hiding,lol!!!

Probably like me you've put on weight!! I stopped the weight loss pills 2 weeks ago,and have put on 1.1 kgs in that time.,and been pretty slack with the exercise.Very disappointing.I'm going back onto the Duromine again-the side effects are minimal as I only take one pill every second day.
They actually do blunt the appetite, and stop the emotional eating, and give you a little extra energy. I lost 4 kgs in 2 months, but have put back 1 kilo on.That's coming off,as I now have less than 6 weeks to go before I leave for my trip to the UK.The exercise will be resumed again too. As I said before, I don't want to look like the Aussie blimp, beached whale, etc.

How about everyone else, how have you been getting on?

Best wishes to everyone, don't give up,

Margot. xx

Hi everone, I am one of those people who "signed up" after the new year and have not been letting you all know how \i have been doing!!
Up until Xmas I had lost 4 stone last year, then Xmas came along and I put on 6lbs, managed to loose that in 2 weeks, then I put on 2lb in the next 2 weeks!!! Today 3 weeks later I lost that 2lb so basically since the week before Xmas I weigh exactly the same as I did then!!!!!

It's a bit depressing as I have a lot more to loose I seem to be trying hard but standing still, however the nurse is pleased with me as I could have stopped going to see her and put on a stone!!!
I feel better today and ready to go for it again so I promise to keep you posted when I go and get weighed 2 weeks from now!!!

Hello

Well I put on 1/2 lb this week but as it's my birthday I think I'm allowed :-)

I found out this morning my fingers are 2 sizes smaller now !! I found this out because yesterday whilst shopping my wedding ring flew off my finger - found a few frantic minutes later . So I went & get them measured today !!!

Penny-well done!

Tina~j-SNAP! I need a miracle, too.I'm going to the UK and Ireland for 1 month in May.I would like to be 70 kg when I go,which means losing 6.7 kg
in just over 2 months!! Never mind,we will just keep doing our best, and stay positive.I gained .1kg on Tues. but I think that was because of the Chinese banquet on Sat. night.I feel slimmer,my clothes are fitting better,
so I will not be giving up.Any weight I lose from now is a bonus.Good luck,Tina~j,and everyone else. Keep trying!!

Hi Everyone - Penny
I won't be going anywhere. My friend and exercise buddy announced her engagement at the weekend. She is getting married in August and I am going to be a Bridesmaid, along with several other very slim friends. HELP - I have a huge incentive to keep going now - and to be honest could really do with a miracle!!
Lost 9lb in total so far - only 4 - 5 stone to go in 6 months - oh dear, that doesn't add up!!
Wish me luck!

Hello

Where is everyone - there was at least 17 of us ready to lose weight at the beginning of last month!?

I got weighed yesterday - stayed the same. Was pleased as we were in Disneyland Paris last week & had 2 Mcdonalds, 3 pizzas & 3 buffet breakfasts :-)

Great to hear from you all.

Tinky-well done, keep trying, hope your OH recovers well from his op.

Tina~j,-stay focused, hope your cough gets better.

Jean,-well done-keep eating enough healthy ,nutritious foods and your energy levels will be great. It's true that it IS harder to lose weight as you get older (ain't that the truth!! ) but you CAN do it!

MO-5lb in 2 weeks-WOW!!! Keep it up! I'm so glad you said "change of diet", that's quite right. We don't "go on a diet", we just watch what we eat,
and eat healthy, unprocessed foods as much as possible.Paul McKenna says that diets don't work, they're a con,and if we go on them we set ourselves up to fail.I agree.( I know I'm brainwashed, lol).

I'm back on track now,and looking forward to losing my next kilo.

Good luck everyone,and keep trying.

Margot.
