Hi Tina and Penny,

Welcome back,Penny, nice to hear from you again. It's great that you're maintaining your weight, and eating sensibly-well done!!

Keep it up,Tina, you're doing well too. Life gets in the way of our best intentions-I had a significant birthday last week, and ended up going out for breakfast with my girlfriend on the day, then out for dinner with all the rellies on Sat. night, and you always end up eating more fattening things than you would if you were home, but I had a lovely time anyway.I put on .2kg for the week, which wasn't too bad.I've been exercising a bit more too,and my clothes are feeling looser,so that's good-I'll have to get stuck in to it again this week.I really am more full of energy when I exercise,so I know it's doing me some good.

Good luck,Tina and Penny, and anyone reading this-

Best wishes, Margot xx.

Hi Tinky

I would say losing 3-4 stone in 3 months ( which includes Christmas) is very tough going. I have lost 3 1/2 stone but it took me 18 months. I know that it can be done a lot quicker but I wanted a "diet" that I could stick to and was realistic to carry on eating that way after I had lost the weight.

I would like to lose another stone but my mind/heart/ mouth isn't into changing :-)

Good luck - set yourself small goals & measure yourself - amazing how many inches you can lose.

Hi Penny,Tina, Tinky,

Glad to see you're all hanging in there and trying.I've lost the plot a bit,but
I'm still trying,it's hard though.I'm still walking,by myself and with the little
dogs,3-4 times a week. The bikes haven't been taken out a lot because my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer (very early stage, luckily)
and his recovery from the 2 biopsies has limited our outings a bit.I hope to go bike riding with him after he recovers from his prostate removal operation.

Anyway,keep trying,good luck everyone.

XX Margot.

Hi Margot

Wishing your hubby a speedy recovery . My Dad has his prostate removed last year and has had one lot of hormone treatment & found out yesterday his cancer count ( or whatever its called) is down to 0.0003. He has also had a quad bypass on his heart done in the meantime ( didn't know he needed one until he had his prostate removed !!)

Hi Penny,Tinky,Tina etc..,

My OH has had a very successful robotic prostatectomy, and that has helped me lose weight too, because I am making sure that he is eating really well.We have been juicing a variety of fruits every morning, and having lots of fruit salad, stir fries with lots of vegies, steamed vegies etc. When he eats well so do I,so it is a big help to me too.

I want to go down one dress size,so it's a good time to get motivated to do something about my excess kilos!

Good luck everyone,

Best wishes, Margot.

Hi Margot

Pleased to hear your OH's op went well - may his ongoing recovery go smoothly & may you see less of each other :-) ( weight wise :-) )
