A Wee Chuckle for the day

Little Billy wanted £100 badly and prayed for two weeks but nothing happened.

Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the £100.

When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, UK, they decided to send it to the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister was so impressed, touched, and amused that he instructed his secretary to send Billy a £5.00 notel.

The Prime Minister thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.

Billy was delighted with the £5.00 and sat down to write a thank you note to God, which read:

Dear God,
Thank you very much for sending the money, however, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Downing Street and, as usual, those crooks deducted £95.00.

Stephen, surely you dont expect me to be on here at 5 a.m.? In fact, I didnt get up until 9 as I didnt sleep well last night. :-\ (looks tired to me rather than bored).

Well, my absence has been because I too had bad news. My dear friend died a few months back, and now another friend has just weeks to live. Very sad. Both had young families. I just dont know what to say to be honest.

One a brighter note, I have finally been properly discharged from Hospital, and will not need to go back there. I am well pleased, and also very relieved.

Keep well and warm everyone. The gas and electric are going up soon!!!!!

Thank goodness, Rita and Jean have popped in to see us. It's such a relief to know that you are both o.k, even though you are both suffering from the side affects of the chemo.

Ooh while I remember it, we have a new baby girl due in February. Another great grandaughter.
