Morning everyone...

Oh Mo ...I love Christmas :-D spending it in Norwich with Grand children, I love to see them at Christmas night we all get excited.....then the prezzies Christmas morning ... :-D

I'm spoilt .....as I offer to do the dinner ,,,but son wont let me, he wants me to join in with the kids,as he knows I love it ..LOL so I'm a big kid as well !!

Its another sunny day.....so my washing is in the machine.

My neighbour wants me to help do her some tracing for her cousin in 10mins .

So I'll be back soon .....

Morning everyone
The weekend is here and the weather is miserable. Damp and misty here to start.

Out for a birthday lunch today, so taking my cousin to Reading. Don't think it will be as big as her Malls but not too shabby.

Getting to see my 2 brothers and their families next week. So keeping busy.

Finished a boys hat last night for Sebastian, seeing all the family today so he can try it on then. I also finshed a pink bonnett in 3ply wool and need to sew up a matinee coat I made from my bargain wool in France. Will keep in case we get grand daughters next time round or donate to the special care baby unit,

Evening friendlies, how is everyone.
Well thats another week nearly over, and one week closer to Christmas. lol Just thought I would cheer you up a bit ;-)

It's good to see so many old faces showing up again.

Foggy and Yvonne, are you going to the meet in Victora next March ? I have added my name to the list, and it would be nice to see a few of our friendly friends there next time wouldn't it.

Hello, where is everyone today, wonder if you have all been having trouble getting on to this thread, I have tried several times today, kept getting the error message, just taken 5 attempts before getting on.
Marilyn, thanks for the tea and biccy, much appreciated. I am not really brave, just stubborn, when I was first diagnosed with cancer in 1973 I vowed I wouldn't let it beat me, there have been times when I almost gave up but my stubborness kept me going.

I do hope Rita and Pauline are recovering, I hate to think of them being ill.

Wonder how Stephen and his family are enjoying their break.

Hope everyone has a good weekend, might take my vardo out for a few hours, get away for a bit of peace.

Hello Foggy, Dermot and Shelly, good to see you all again.

Been out all day. Up to Birmingham to visit an elderly friend of my Canadian cousin. Never been there before and was very impressed with everywhere we went. So much history and some modern buildings too
Had a wonderful time and I have now e-mailed some passenger lists across to the lady of when she visited her family back in England from Canada in 1953 and when she returned permenantly to England in 1955. She never knew the papers existed.

I have also done a lot of research on my cousin's father's family too. Including a memorial page for an Uncle who died in 1941 in Egypt, with a report of the battle he was involved in too.

I love my hobby when I have time !!!LOL

Its very sunny ,but very chilly.......so boots it is.

I think my son is planning on going to Ruapehu again this (long) weekend. The forecast is not too good so I hope he takes care. He was there last weekend and it snowed but I think it was only a short walk they did. He photographed the Whio, our blue duck which makes a whistling noise.
