Goodness Stephen has winter been and gone oop north already?

Looks OK here this morning. Got the washing on but guess it will be dried indoo, as the garden has little sun this time of the year. And it doesn't look too blowy either.

Gym meeting this morning to assess my routine and give me something new to think about, the machines have been upgraded and will now stor details linked to computers to record what you do. All sounds like "big brother" keeping an eye on you or is it better so you can see any imrovement yourself?

Ended up in Stockbridge yesterday a small town(more village) in Hampshire and had a nice walk spying trout in the rivers and some nice shops and cafes, but expensive to have a drink out now. £6 for a cream tea, with ONE scone. Still it saves temptation eh?

No plans for this weekend so might have a quieter one, maybe.
Hope everyone is OK. Wish we'd hear from Rita and Pauline is missing again.

Oh I have found a family link with my ancestors in Wokingham, all through a newspaper article in a free local paper. A couple spent some time here a few weeks ago researching his grandfathers family roots. He had gone to Canada about 1910. Seems a possible link with my Gt Gt Grandmother who ended up in London with her family. So I think I might be researching more this weekend. I found them not through the paper but through Ancestry.

Gosh Linda, baby Joshua is seven weeks old now, that has really flown by.

Has anyone heard how Rita is doing. Bless her she hasn't been on the thread in ages, and this has been her lifeline for so long now.

Didn't get out yesterday as we had a surprise visit from our Daughter in law with baby Joshua. He is 7 weeks old now and smiling all the time, except when he is hungry !!
Off to see Sebastian later with his mum.

Had some progress with my cousin in Canada's family history. She has been asking questions of the few remaining family and getting some surprising answers. She is now intrigued and wants to find out more.
Today I have printed off some passenger lists for an elderly friend of her parents who travelled with them on trips across the Atlantic. She has never seen these herself. They will be going in the post later today.

Just popped on while having some lunch then I'm off to work untill 9pm

Mo the fireworks don't seem to worry my horse, we are quite lucky the yard is down a little road away from the village. The pub at the top of the hill didn't have fireworks this year, their beer garden backs on to one of the fields and you can see the garden from the stables. my dog isn't bothered by the fire works either

Have a review of my programme on Friday so wait to see what changes are made as I just about know what I am doing on the present one.

Managed to finish off a couple more jumpers for Sebastian last night, I was short of buttons, but got them so now on a roll again now.

Hi Shephen ad all

Oh Jen can i have hot tea with hot water bottle please got no heating again here, waiting for someone to come and sort it. Blow heater i got isnt working, i have checked the fuse its not that. Its the 3 time its gone over the last month. So its blankets over me until they get here and then i can dress and go out.

Holidays where good apart from the one in Hastings ended up at hospital the Saturday and Sunday night with Caitlin. She has alot of problems, Saturday night we coudnt calm her down so went into hope doctor could help but didnt want to knw, The Sunday night she was on a high again, jumped on a stool it went over she hit hr hip and then the leg hit her rib. She is ok now.

Yes I'm supping the G&T's OK and the Red wine...hmm.

Its only 84 degrees...phew....but I'm loving it :-D

We are just about settled down after the jet lagged its taken 3days for our sleeping pattern to get normal.

But who cares !! LOL

We are going on the beach later after we have had our lunch of fresh prawn sandwiches just been caught down at the harbour ..LOL

Hope you lot are not suffering tooooooooo much ....in the freezing cold !! ;-)

The USA elections are today....and its bloody noisy with everyone canvassing with their placards up and down the streets....so I guess we will wait until 2am our time for the results .

Aah bless poor gypsy,I dont blame her for not wanting to go out during the fireworks.
In fact, I had to go out to darts last night, and there were so many fireworks going off, I was afraid if a rocket came down from the sky, and landed on my head, that I might have been hurt.
I know that at times I may need a rocket up my b*m, but I didn't fancy having on on me head.

Stephen, you haven't seen Linda's muscles now, after all these weeks of going to the gym, she is in training for the next Olympics dontcha know.
