The census taker knocked on Stephens door.

He answered all his questions except one.

He refused to tell him his age.

“But everybody tells their age to the census taker,” the Enumerator said.

“Did Jimmy Hill and Patty Hill tell you their ages?”

“Certainly'' said the Enumerator .

” Well, I’m the same age as they are,” he snapped.

“As old as the Hills,” the Enumerator wrote on his form.

Sorry I abandonned ship earlier today Jean, had urgent call from our daughter Sebastian( & consequentially Mum ) had had a really bad night. Teething is the worst thing so far about being a Mum !!! He was definately pained but baby Nurofen helped a bit, just hope it helps tonight. Took over half a dozen books for him and 2 pairs of bootees(more like slipper socks) that I had made too.

I lost over 2lb at weight watchers tonight so I am pleased. Did the gym this morning.

Do you remember the last little girl I childminded went to live in Singapore well today I had an e-mail to say she is now a big sister, another little girl . They must be very happy.

Chelsea managers make excellent egg timers.

Happy birthday for tomorrow, Stephen. I have to add it now as I will probably be busy on the phone tomorrow trying to sort out a new TV aerial for my new TV, plus somebody to come some time when I am home (whenever that might be!) to set it all up. I had imagined I could just plug the old aerial cable in and plug the TV into the power and I would then be away laughing, but no go. :-0 Oh well, you win some and lose some. Whatever some might be. I just wish my diary wasnt so full at present. At least I can listen to the news on my old TV in the meantime. :-(

A pipe had burst in a doctor's house.

He called a plumber.

The plumber arrived, unpacked his tools, did mysterious plumber-type things for a while, and handed the doctor a bill for £600.

The doctor exclaimed, "This is ridiculous! I don't even make that much as a doctor!."

The plumber quietly answered, "Neither did I when I was a doctor."

Huia........ BLACK Friday is the day retailers go from RED (making a loss) into BLACK (making a profit ) ....

Foggy...... I did notice in the papers that UK have Black Friday...well whatever next !!
we copied Halloween from them .....maybe we will have a Thanksgiving day sometime don't know what for though ..LOL

Its only breakfast time here,so I'm just relaxing and thinking what to do for the rest of the day.

I'm glad I'm missing all UK weather , I have been reading on line about it :-S
