Bright and clear here. Hubby checked temp at 7 and it was soooo cold -4C !!!

Son, dil and grandson Joshua coming to dinner tonight as they have been dog sitting locally and we are on route home. That will be 3 times this week we will see Joshua.

Quiet day today I think so will try to write some more Christmas cards. I have at least made my special cross-stitch ones for our children.

Happy Birthday George, hope today has been special for you.

Today we met with family and friends we have known for nearly 40 years and their family. We enjoyed a lovely meal and good company. There were 4 little ones too so it was quite jolly. It was the restaurants first Christmas meal this year. Just a small friendly pub in Taplow near Cliveden. Very good.
I recieved our first Christmas card too. It is now sitting on my mantlepiece with the candles I bought yesterday to make a plate display. Next I will be getting out the Christmas decorations. Oh dear !!!
