Heading off to the Hospital to visit a relation of my wife.

No getting better for this chap.

He has deteriorated over a period of time but was being cared for at home.

He is waypast that stage now.

He's not old , 67 .His family are finding it hard to accept that he is so ill.

Hi Pauline
My brother went to another hospital for an angiogram today, but will hopefully be nearer home by now and allowed home by Friday.

Stephen, hubby hates his birthday being so close to Christmas and wouldn't even celebrate if it were up to him but he has me and his children now. We will probably have a family meal as restaurants get booked too early and too many Christmas dinners aren't a good idea.

Enjoy the evening everyone

I'm dropping in............. for a couple of minutes.

Hope the results are OK, Linda. How's your brother?

Mo, thank you for the lovely Christmas card, you're very early - haven't even written mine out yet.

My garden looks like a Christmas card, it started snowing at 9am and hasn't stopped since, it's quite deep now.

Stephen2009 Report 5 Dec 2012 16:54

The main benefit of having the snow is that it does help brighten up these very dark nights..

It's particularly good when there is a clear sky and a 'big' moon.

Thanks Jean
Just back from the gym, hospital later.

How many men does it take to clean the filters in the air con at the gym?????
At least 3.
One to carry a ladder
One to climb it
Another to lower said filters down
And two to stand at bottom of ladder

Oh and only ONE was wearing his yellow hi-vis jacket
Not a protective helmet in sight !!!!

LOL

Not a joke this really happened this morning.
Health and safety gone mad.

PS the snow has almost disappeared, and it's 2C at present

Morning everyone, hope you all had a restful night.

Very cold here, but at least it isn't raining, think Scarlett and I will take the horses out and enjoy the fresh air.

Just realised today would have been my 53rd wedding anniversary if I hadn't divorced my ex, a long time to stay with a wife beater. thank goodness I had the courage to take that step. [sorry if this remark offends anyone]

Linda I hope you get to the hospital safely and your chest x-ray is ok, take care when you go out.

Still no news from Rita! poor love, she has had an awful time recently, hope she has lots of support.

~~~~~~~~~~~to everyone, if you have to go out today take care and stay safe.
Jean xx :-) :-) <3 :-) :-) <3 :-) :-)
Morning all
We have snow!!! What the heck? Didn't see it forecast anywhere. Don't really want it either as I have to try to get to hospital today for a chest x-ray for me .
My brother is also in hospital having had a heart attack, totally ou of the blue.
And friday I am supposed to be going with my Mum to get a heart scan.
Why does everything happen at once.
So glad to see Pauline back on here. I hope you are feeling better.
Hoping Rita is OK and that she is being looked after.
Jean take care if you have snow when you go out to your horses.
Thinking of everyone else. Marilyn won't want to come back methinks.
