Back from the gym, need to keep up my fitness and still keeping up the diet too.
Bit dull here this morning.
Off to the drs later and get a blood pressure monitor for the next week. Hoping it isn't too sky high. But at least it will be a more acurate measure.

Went to see my brother last week. he is OK lost 11lb whilst in hospital, get tired with doing nothing, but is able to go up two floors to his own bedroom, which I was quite surprised about.

Also saw Mum the same day she is well, but her memory is getting worse.

Children back at school today here, dont suppose there will be much work done, they will all want to tell each other what presents they had.

Wonder if Stephen and Mrs Stephen have enjoyed their break.

Shelly, what do you think of the housemates in Big Brother this year? I keep hoping that someone would kick of, to liven it up a bit. I thought the American couple would cause a riot when they went into the main house, but no, not yet.

It has been a bit damp here today but no rain, and not really cold, but the forecast is a cold front moving in tonight.

Hope your Aunts funeral went ok, not nice things to go to are they.

Mo, how is Lilly, has she got over the excitement of Christmas yet, and has she stopped being sick, poor little love I bet she has been feeling very sorry for herself, when they are so young they dont understand what is wrong do they.

Schools and nurseries go back on Tuesday here, shopping will be much easier now thank goodness.

I am going to have a nice cuppa now while Chris is bathing Scarlett.

Hi Pauline, I hope your aunts funeral went well. It was pitch black when you posted this morning, it was dark here at 3.30 this afternoon, so we had to put the table lamps on to brighten the place up a bit.
It sooo depressing outside, I wish the fine weather would hurry up and get here, to cheer us all up a bit.
How is your back now my love?

It's going to be very quiet on here for a while, what with Stephen being away, and Marilyn going cruising again,(lucky girl), we are going to be a bit thin on the ground.

Wonder if Linda's got her email sorted out, hope nobody was conned into sending money. It's the first time I've actually seen one of those scams but I've read a lot of people on this site saying they've had them.

It's my Aunt's funeral today, I hope the flowers I ordered are nice............ tried a new florist this time.

It's good to see that our Shelly is still with us. For a while now, I thought she'd got stuck up that flippin tree of hers.

Well, I watched the postman pick my donation and card for Rita out of the postbox this morning.
Hopefully it should reach the family by tomorrow.
Had to make sure there was enough postage stamps on it, I didn't want a repeat of a christmas card we received, that was short by 9p, but cost us £1.09 to retrieve from the post office. I would hate to think that Rita's family had to pay the extra for collection. Even though it would tickle Rita's sense of humour, bless her.

so if i want to send rita's family a card i have to send it to the funeral directors
pluss if i want to send flowers i also sent them to the funeral directors am i right in both ???

well have has a lovely christmas and new year
the best sale ever i think was B&Q as i got some new bubbles for next year and thay only cost me 10p yep 10p and thay was down from £2 and some was still 10p down from £3
