It should just read Cyclist,.........my son had a bad crash on his mountain bike and finished up in hospital........nothing broken but he was stitched up in a few places and bruised from head to foot.

His helmet saved his head....thank goodness.

Stephen, it wasnt motorbikes in the competition, just 'push' bikes, the sort that have to be pedalled. I have put 3 photos I took on my FB page, for those that know how to find me there.

Emjoying my weekend off of having the grand children. Just pity weather wasnt better so i could go out, wet and windy here.

My son has gone mad on making cakes for his family. And he is doing a good job at it. Well i did teach him well. His son wants to make ginger bread men today.

still havent got a date for my tribunal yet, but stress of it all is getting to me now. been put on anitdressen again. Just wish it was all done with, its almost been a year now.

I am still in bit of pain in my hip after my fall. But at least i didnt break anything. It was my hip i was worrying about as it very weak and painfull

Had a lovely cream tea yesterday with my daughter in law and her sister to celebrate dil birthda. We had a nice time and plenty of talking too.
Today we dog sit for a couple of weeks and the family are coming to dinner, so more entertaining.
Yesterday morning went to our youngests old flat to clear and clean getting ready to market it after her marriage break up. Sad but not as bad as I thought it might be. New start and all that.

Had my son visit yesterday for a few hours. A lovely surprise. It's good to chat. Don't see him as much as I would like to. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

Glad the cyclist was ok. There is not a lot of protection when you crash with one of those bikes.

The weather is pretty miserable this morning so no walks today I dont think. A few bits and bobs to do so that'll keep me busy.

I thought I had deleted my duplicate post, Mo, but perhaps it was too slow and I gave up. I have deleted it now.

The young lad got a really thorough going-over by the paramedics to make sure he was ok, although I am sure he will have a few aches today, despite all the 'armour' they wear.

I took a lot of photos today, but one of the cameras is over-exposing them, although I did alter it's setting and got a few good ones until it decided to play up again. I will have to ask the woman in the shop what is wrong with it. I got some with my smaller camera too. Must do a bit of tweaking (brightening some, cropping some, etc.) When the sun is shining it is hard to see what I am getting on the screen, so I usually allow extra space around the subject. I did at one stage switch to using the view finder but I dont like it, and I forgot I had it on that setting and wondered later on why I couldnt get anything on the screen. I thought it might have cooked in the hot vehicle. So many things to think of.

What is it with this site, it takes ages to get onto this thread, and then it's posting things twice.

Ooh Huia, I hope the lad was o.k after his fall from his bike. I hope you get some good shots in Raglan, I shall enjoy having a look at them on F.B.

I do wish I was clever enough to do card making. I went in to buy a valentines card for Roly, and was disgusted at the cards on display.
I do like a card to have nice words, and the ones that were left in the shop, had hardly any words in them at all.
So I shall get my thinking head on, and add my own special verse for my lickle love.

Stephen you did well keeping the thread going, and your daily jokes are to be recommended as a starter to get us going for the day, thank you.

Marilyn, you keep promising to send us some sunshine, has it got lost on it's way over to us.

I do look in each day, Stephen, but dont always post. I went out yesterday to watch some mountain bike championships just over the hill, to try out my photography. One young lad crashed next to me! He had just come over a big jump.

Today I am off to Raglan which is a seaside town West of Hamilton if you have a map. The photography club is having an outing there. I want to get off very soon so see you all another time.

Back from the gym weight stayed the same so I have lost the holiday gain.

Babysat Joshua last night, he was good. Took a feed and slept while his Dad went ouit for a birthday meal with his Mum.
