Hello, all, when the up toppers get out of bed.

I have been busy playing with photos, putting some on FB in the hopes of finding out which 2 would be good to enter in the camera club on 4 March, topic: panning, long exposure or abstract motion (which I prefer to call abstract movement!) ;-) It is not easy to find one which the judges might consider worthy of an Honours, or even Highly Commended. If anybody wants to look at the photos and tell me which 2 they think best it would be appreciated. I have some more to put on.

Hi All
Been shopping for youngests birthday gift took it to her this evening, she wanted perfume, got the right one so she was happy.
Took the dog for a run too while we were out, so son happy.
Both still coughing so we're not to good.

Finished a knitted outfit for Sebastian and a fine wool jumper too. Started another crochet blanket for the Special Care Baby unit. Oh I forgot when my daughter had the christening she asked for small cahnge at the bar to be donated to the unit that had helped Sebastian when he was born............... I think the donations were around £200 !! that should help other babies and their parents.

It's been very cold today. Marilyn please wrap up when you get back. Where do you fly into?

Afternoon Jean,

Yes , a rather cold bitter wind here today as well.

You'll probably remember that I go to the Mountains at the end of February each year.

It was a promise that four of us made to each other so many years ago, that when possible we would all meet on the last weekend in February and climb a hill called Buchaille Etive Mor in Glencoe.

My friends are now dead but I still go as promised. A wee dram to their memory and a wee tear as well no doubt.

I camp in the same spot each year and have had everything from calm and mild weather to a howling blizzard and temperatures as low as -20C. Yep ! I suppose I am daft.

They were prepared to die for their Country so I have no problem having it a bit rough to keep my promise.

Brrrr, very cold here today, feels like winter again.

It has just taken me 3/4 hour to get onto this thread, all others on GR are fine, just this one is a problem. Wonder if the GR staff are trying to get rid of us.

Am seriously thinking it may not be worth renewing my membership when it is due in August, will think about it.

Helloooo, everyone. Good grief it's taken me an age to get on here. I do hope we all get rid of this lurgy thats been affecting us all, in one way or another soon.

Now come on, tell us, what is this make over you have been doing then? Or perhaps you have said, and I missed it.

Marilyn, what date are you travelling back hun. You take care of that chest of yours, you don't want to end up being really poorly after your flight home.

Linda, you are bound to start losing the weight again soon. And when you start to feel better, you can start your excercise regime again honey.
The cough is awful isn't it, if I get half a nights sleep it's a miracle. My anti-biotics don't seem to be helping very much, but hey ho I shall complete the course and see what happens. You never know it may take till the very last one for them to work, weeeeelll miracles can happen. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Its me again.....I have been poorly :-S

I had to go to the doctors on last Thursday.....Bronchitis .....I have been coughing since before Christmas and have had two lots of Antibiotics since then, but now on another very different one by this American Doctor.....so heres hoping this time it works !!

Mo & Linda have sympathy with you both.......

Our dear Rita's birthday, I so miss her on our thread ...RIP Rita <3

Coming home soon .......maybe I need a chest ex-ray when I get home, I was offered one here ,but thought no they may keep me in hospital !! :-(
