A Wee Chuckle for the day !

A couple was making their first doctors visit prior to the birth of their first child.

After the exam, the doctor took a small stamp and stamped the wife’s stomach with indelible ink.

The man and his wife were curious about what the stamp was for, so when they got home, the man took out his magnifying glass to try to see what is was.

In very small letters, the stamp said, “When you can read this, come back and see me.”

Afternoon all

Had a nice time at yt sisters yesterday, we went to my older sisters too for a cuppa and a chat. Didn't get any snow lol

Went back to school today, half term over, the kids were very noisy. It always takes a few days to settle in again.

It's very quiet on the thread lately

Morning all
Cold again this morning.
Had a nice meal with the family yesterday for our youngests birthday.
Off to watch Joshua have a swimming lesson today with his Mum. I think I'm there to dry him off and hold him while Mum gets dressed !! LOL
Hubby still coughing, but slightly less.

Started some little bits of knitting last night, my niece gave me some patterns for Christmas tree decorations. Guess I am making an early start. Made a pair of mittens last night to hang on the tree. Think I will be making at least 4 of everything. One for each family and one for us.

I've had the week off work, we went to London on Tuesday, had a wander around some of the sights then went to Westfield shopping centre in Wood Lane.

Huia your photos are really good, I'll have another look later and see which ones I like best. My son is keen on photography, he sent a few to Countryfile for their calender competition


We are off to Kent tomorrow to visit family, hope it doesn't snow!

Enjoy your solitude Stephen. I do admire you for your loyalty. Will it be very cold? It is freezing down south.
Planted up some polyanthus yesterday and hands frozen even though I was mainly in the garage.
Hubby still not well coughing is awful, Drs gave him antibiotics yesterday hoping it helps.
