Evening all, I have been trying to get on here for ages.
MO, I have a torn ligament on my right knee, and sprained my left ankle as well as tearing the skin on my shin, all because I was being fussy and wanted to make sure the roof would be perfect. :-(
Marilyn, LOL, wish I had been drinking, probably wouldn't have hurt so much, and unfortunately they are the old boys friends.....lol.
Linda, so sorry to hear about your mum and dad, hope all ends well for them both.
Pauline...LOL. wouldn't mind a bed bath from the Sloane ranger, but I think she has her eyes set on foggs :-( :-( :-( :-( never mind...LOL
Cath 2010, thanks.
Stephen, think it was the sound of your bag pipes that startled me and made me slip.....LOL
Hi to Yvonne and Rita.
Hope everyone has had a lovely day in the warm sunshine.
George :-) :-) :-)

Didn't go far this morning as Mum had a fall yesterday at the Home and was at the hospital(different one to Dad) in case she had broken her hip !!! Luckily she was just shaken and a little bruised.
Unfortunately Dad is worse today. My 3 children were up to visit along with other family members, including taking Mum again to see him. He is slipping in and out of wakefulness and not eating or drinking much. Nearly all the family were there this afternoon. I just heard he may be moved to a side ward, not looking good.
Will be going up again tomorrow if he still needs us

Mo have a great time, we will miss you lots :-( I am surprised I managed to get on here, been trying since lunchtime :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| Very frustrating when you can access some threads and not others. Our lovely Jodie has had a great day, spoilt rotten and she deserves it for being so brave. <3 She has to see the orthopaedic surgeon next month and a decision will be made about the surgery to remove the tumour in her hand. Pitch dark outside already :-( and will be worse next weekend when the clocks go back. Roll on SUMMER, lol, lol, lol. Can you tell I'm not a winter person? :-D <3 <3 <3 to all the friendlies,

Well thats the packing finished ready for the off early in the morning. I am still dreading the journey though, I will have to stop at a shop and buy some reading matter to keep me occupied.
Thanks Pauline for the message from Rita, bless her I bet she is feeling very frustrated with G.R. They dont seem to be able to get anything right just lately do they.
No news from George today, lets hope he is o.k, after his fall from the shed roof yesterday.
Well my friends, I will say cheerio for now, and will speak to you again next weekend. Love Mo xxx

Morning all.
Bit of a farce with this site yesterday wasn't it? Very annoying to type a long post and then get the Error message.
I've had word from Rita, she can't post because GR said her membership ran out. She said she had a message from GR saying her membership was due but she needn't do anything because she was on continual. When she tried to post yesterday and couldn't - she thought it was because the site was having problems. She still can't post anything today so she sent them an email asking what was wrong and they said her membership had run out.
Mo, Rita said she's sorry she couldn't wish you a happy birthday, she tried all day to do it.
Linda, I hope something is sorted out soon so your parents can be together.
George, what do you think you're playing at - climbing ladders............ are you trying to put yourself back into a wheelchair? Behave yourself and stop trying to get those 'girls' to rush over and play nurse to you. I know you're just after a bed bath. :-) :-)
Stephen, what was 'John' trying to sell? I missed it!!
Edit: Happy Birthday to Cath's granddaughter. :-D :-D <3 <3 :-D :-D
And well done to Shelly's son. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Its lovely and sunny here.....just looking out of my patio doors and can see a flock of pheasants roaming in my garden, I did notice the farmer eyeing them up yesterday for the shoot in November, poor little mites. So next time I'll see them it will be in the butchers shop for Christmas

Morning All,
Stevey that unsavoury mail had a strange name when you clicked on the JOHN !! hmm where did he come from ?
I went out for dinner last night at my friends and they cooked a lovely meal when I asked for the recipe she said I cheated it was an M&S one ...LOL
Shelly thats great news about your son.......he's very lucky as any printing job is good money ,good luck to him .
Yesterday I was doing my head in about trying to get on GR I have complained on other threads about it with others ....its about time GR got it right so frustrating to get in......just fed up with the Purple messages of error.
George....that's a silly thing to do....are you sure it wasn't the minerals that you were drinking that led to that fall ? Now you'll have to get your lady servants for a few days ... to look after you ;-)

Thoughts still with you all and fingers crossed they get a nursing home sorted out quickly. Our eldest granddaughter is 10 today, makes me feel old. I don't know where the years have gone. Well I managed to get on here at last........yesterday it was a waste of time. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(
If you are wonder why the RR on the previous Post it was a Scam message advertising things for sale. Thought GR might want to have a look at it. To be on the safe side it might be best not to open up anything related to this posting.
Another dark damp day here :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|
The last few days we have been celebrating my wee Grandaughters 6th birthday. Finale was at the house yesterday with loads of her friends and their parents........A great time was had by all........ Maddie.......Neil Oliver sends his best regards. He says you've to watch out for his new programme on Antartica coming out soon. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Just for you from Neil.
If it stays dry for a wee while today I might try and get some outside work done ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Shelly, Nice to hear your lad has a job, I hope it works out ok for him. He will probably feel a lot better in himself now that he has a specific purpose.
Catch you later folks. Have a good day ya all !
Keep safe , keep well , keep smiling :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hello my friends. Many thanks for the birthday wishes. It has been a wonderful day, surrounded by the family and friends.
Marilyn, how would we know what a 40 year old feels like, when we get there, we can tell the others. If I had a 40 year old to feel, ( ahem ) I would share him with you.
Ooohhhh George, I hope you are o.k, and not feeling to sore. What damage have you done to your legs? Thank goodness you had the ol boys help, thats what good friends are like at times off crisises like that.
Linda thank goodness Dad is showing signs of improvement. It would be wonderful if the social workers could get the nursing home sorted our for them quickly.
Maddie, I bought all my christmas cards last January in the sales. Tight wad arn't I. lol I am just dreading writing them out though.
Shelly, congrats to your son on getting the job. It's something all we mums want for our children, full time employment is hard to find these days.
Love to all. Mo xxx
