Yes Mo life can be a real 'B' at times.

He was in my Guard of Honour when I got married. A young man with a bright future ahead of him.

I'm glad we had a bit of time together when he was last at home.

Stephen I am so sorry to hear your sad news. Life is a right B*std sometimes isn't it.
Forgive me for asking, but did he die of natural causes, or was it because of
previous troubles out there. I mean no offence in asking this question Stephen.
Life is being so unkind to so many of our friends lately, what with your dear friend with the cancer as well, and our Linda's dad passing, and George hurting himself as well, oooh for goodness sake when will it all end.
The only good news is that your precious son will be with you very soon.

Cath, will you slow down woman for goodnesssake, you are making me quite giddy with all this clearing up. But it's better to be safe than sorry love.

A very dear friend that I have known for 48 years has died in Iraq. He is ex Royal Navy. He had gone out to help rebuild the infrastructure of the Country. I spoke to him about a fortnight ago before he went back out to Iraq to complete a project he was working on. I'm a bit devastated :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

Time to set the table for our meal......I'm hungry.

Cooeee everyone,
The daft old bat is back from her travels up North. Worn out, foot sore and blistered from all the walking, but apart from that, alls fine and dandy.
We had a great relaxing time, the weather was good to us, no rain during the day only at night, when I was unawares of it happening.
Some stupid idiots have stolen the cables for the Trams, further up the line from where we stay, so getting on a tram to go into town was a nightmare, every one that came along,was full to bursting.
One morning we went down for a tram, and a poor lady had been standing waiting since 9.45 a.m and the time we saw her was at 11.15. she was unable to walk any distances, so she said she would wait, in hopes that there would be enough room on at least one tram, for a single person.
If it hadn't have been for the parking situation, I would have gone back and got the car, and driven her into town, bless her.

Linda, I am so sorry to hear about your Dads passing. He is now at rest,and looking down on you giving you strength to manage with everything you have to now cope with. (((((((((((( HUGS FOR YOU)))))))))))))))) <3 <3

Marilyn enjoy your holiday hunny, it will soon be Thanksgiving day again, yummy all that lovely food, enjoy.

I suppose you are off to USA ? hope you have a good time. I am sure you will. if I was you I would leave a suitcase packed save packing everytime your off LOL.

Its another Sunny day here.......so far !

I'm off away tomorrow following that sun in warmer climates......6 weeks !!

But you'll hear about me ,although 5hrs behind I'll be up half your night :-0

Packing has to be done today as yesterday I had my granddaughter all day and she has worn me out .......so need that holiday.
Just All behave I dont want to see anyone Evicted !! LOL

what a black morning the clocks have not yet been altered and the mornings are all ready dark.. this is the time of the year the gas and electric companies enjoy. knowing they will have plenty of money coming in. they can buy new cars then and up there wages. lol

I have not had to put my heating on this year yet. and the light goes on around 6 unless it is extra dark outside.

Washing spinning around, hubby will put it out later as my youngest is taking me out soon to a farm near Abingdon. She said I needed to get out more!!!

Funeral is to go ahead now for Friday with a temporary death cert.

My computer is very slow I said to my son your always asking me what I want for christmas every year ? I know what I want this year. a carrier pigeon as that would get to the destination a long while before I get onto my computer Is is not just GR it is the whole thing getting onto the email and then the internet

Evening all
Went to see Mum this afternoon and she is imroving with the antibiotics thank goodness. Her breathing seemed quite normal.
She just wanted to know she could go to the funeral, which of course she will, no matter what.
The hospital will xray her hip again just to check after her fall last week.
