Had a lazy afternoon with OH, both daughters out so we just lounged about and did nothing :-D

Afternoon all
It is a grey day here too with more than a touch of dampness around.
I have spent this morning ironing baby bedding and tiny clotes for my expectant daughter, hope she can use some of it. That was pleasurable.
Then I tried to write out some information for the reverand for the funeral, that was not so easy.
Next I printed of some nice pictures of Dad and lots of our families to make a collage for the "wake".
I hope it is nice enough for Mum to have on the wall when we finally find a care home for her.

I was gonna be very good and do some baking, a friend gave me loads of eggs from her chickens but when I looked through my cupboards I haven't got half the ingredients so the next time I go shopping I'll have to make a list of what I need

Stephen, I know what you mean about waking up at silly-o-clock, 6a.m is a stupid time to wake up, but I tried to convince myself it was 7a.m but it didn't work, so now I am feeling tired.

I'm off tonight for London. might take me a few days to get logged on as my American friend logs everything off on his summer resident on the beach as he lives in another part of the Island in Fort Myers Florida, they only come back to live next door when we are there ... :-D
So sometimes it takes a few days for the cable man to fix all connections !!

well it has started dark morning the sky was black when I woke this morning and it was 7 according to my clock but should have been 8.

Marilyn have a lovely time, I'm guessing you are off to America, if so where abouts?

Mum is still in hospital, but OK. A second xray has been done I believe.

I had a list send to me by the minister doing the service yesterday, so I had to search my head for facts about Dad. The family research certainy helped. Though he was a private man and was reluctant to talk about much especially family affairs. All that is lost now. So I haope I have it all OK for Friday.

Hi everyone, haven't been on because I've had visitors........... my nephew and his family.

Oh George, I'm so sorry to hear about Foggy, that's terrible news. I hope he's going to be OK, will you give him my love and tell him I'll be thinking of him? I'll be saying a little prayer for a speedy recovery. Please keep us up to date about his health.
