I blew a gasket at a guy one day for 'walking' down the middle of the road.

Hope you've all had a reasonable day considering the rubbish weather.

MO, I agree about cars and lorries having separate motorways,, don't really think it necessary, just make the cars keep off the motorways.
I cant recall how many times in the past I have seen cars crawling along in the centre lane and refusing to pull over to the left.
This is NOT a derisive remark against women, but it practically is always a woman hogging the middle lane.

Make a note to self, (expect lots of flack from the girls) :-( :-(

Hi everyone.
What a terrible tragedy on the motorway last night.
I truly believe that cars and lorries should not be on the same motorway.
It's bad enough when two cars collide, let alone when lorries are involved as well.
Some of the heavy goods vehicles these days are so big, and heavy, that they sway from side to side.
I know that we will never get separate motorways, but it still doesn't alter the fact that they scare the pants off me.

Linda, how lovely to have seen the rainbow on the way to Dads funeral. It would seem that he was paving the way for you, to get to him safetly.

One of the young lads I worked with was on that peice of motorway 20 mins beforehand. He was on his way to his Accountancy course.
It was quite sunny down here. I watched an old Miss Marple film with Margaret Rutherford and of course I read at the same time.
I booked an appointment to have my gas fire checked in a couple of weeks time.

Christmas fever has hit the shops and they are all trying to outdo each other. People have gone barmy. I need a new pair of shoes, yes another pair, but a pair for work. nuffink. lol

My sister is coming over on Tuesday for the day she emailed me and asked where we could go for our holidays next year.? she likes to research places Hotels and transport etc etc.

we are thinking of going to Western Supper Mare as my Mother father and 7 generations came from Mells in Somerset. so we intend to stroll around there and take photos.
here we are speaking of holidays and we have rain, rain and more rain
and it is getting colder.

I am booked in for my 3 monthly scan on 16th so I will wait till I have had that and see what happens I am not due to get the results till 3rd January.

Looking forward to " Strickly Dancing "tonight Len isnt there so they have the young women on the panel from " Dirty Dancing ". then we have Melrin I love that programe.

Stephen that road accident was horrific and the numbers will possibly increase, my heart goes out to them all.
Was it really caused by the smoke from a bonfire or bad driving in poor conditions? I wonder.
We saw some awful driving and risk taking yesterday afternoon after the funeral on our way home.

Been fixing some of my tree and sending photos to family.

Yes Stephen very sad for all involved, saw it on the news this morning.

Linda sending ((hugs)) to you, Your dad had a good send-off and everything went well. At my dad's funeral 3 years ago there were so many people it was standing room only, I never realised he knew so many.

I managed to lock myself out of the house earlier, after 4 phonecalls to my OH and getting his answerphone I got back in, I won't say how incase there are any burglars looking in :-) but son's golf clubs came in handy!

Hope everyone is ok today and not too down with the weather we have been having of late.

I went to the quacks yesterday and had my knee gizmo removed, feels much better, at least I can get about a bit more.
