I am much much better now, not looking forward to going back next week for another angioplasty to my left side this time, but thats life.

Just back from the gym, it doesn't get any easier.
Same weather as Rita, dark, damp and miserable, drizzly too. Won't be walking far today.
Might go into Bracknell market and get some fresh fruit and veg and salad. need some printer ink as I promised some photos to my Mum's cousin, who isn't on the internet.

Morning what a grey day it is today. my son has gone off to clean a (Lake
as a volunteer one of his days holiday owing him. it for a Nature reserve, they keep it clean for people to enjoy. it is done once a year.

I said I hope he does not find anything untoward in the Lake. I am glad it is not raining.

dont forget two minutes silence for the fallen this morning. RIP

I have not alot to do today good job as well as my hands and feet and arms ache . my friend is getting us fish and chips for dinner time. so I will only have a plate and fork and knife to wash lol I could eat out of the paper .lol

Yes I am looking forward to my week off. I have not had time off work since July, so feeling a bit weary.

Am going out with the girls from work to have a drink or three tonight.

Hi Linda I am pleased you have got your mother sorted out for a home, I know Ruslip I lived not too far from there. near the station. Hillingdon is my Sons nearest Hospital being a paramdic he goes in and out there quiet alot taking patients in. My grangdaughter Stacey lives a few minutes walk from there thats her hospital she can walk there on her crutches.

George good to see your on the mend., hope things goes well for you with your lady friend try and keep together will make all the difference to you nice to hear about Foggy as well. he will soon be up and about.when the warm weather comes.

Firstly, the old boy is doing ok, ish. he has to go back to have the same thing on the other side next week, putting those stents things in. will keep you posted.


I haven't been on recently because I have been distracted...lol.
Its a bit of a story, but I have just got back together with a lady friend i used to have, she gave me the elbow because of all my drinking.
I have managed to cut back really hard, and now although I still go for a pint or two, no longer get legless. :-) :-) which pleased my lady friend.
SO, it looks like we are going to give it another go :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Have the doctor given you your medication yet ? Surely you don't have to wait for the nurse to give them to you ... :-S

I always see my doctor for check ups every 6 months for all blood tests & examinations.
The nurse is available at my surgery for any problems or worries .

You'll have to have Eye test soon.....

Linda nothing to worry about I take two tablets a day Metformin and I feel absolutely fine...

I was borderline for a couple of years then it catches up with you

Sorry I didn't mean to ignore you. Yes it is Hillingdon in Middlesex. Mum has been in there for about 2 weeks and wasn't moved yesterday, due to ss not having the finance in place ? I am hoping to hear good news later today. My sister and nephew went to the home and put some of her personal belongings in her room. So it looks like she has a room even if she can't occupy it. Mad eh? The home is in Ruslip, near The Orchard Pub so it should be easy to take her out even just for a meal and give her things she has missed for the last few years. Even though they had plenty of people visiting them and we had taken them both out for a meal in March for their birthdays, and taken in fish and chips which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Been and got curtains for the bedroom at last, just need to iron them and get them hung up.

Then we did some food shopping. Aren't prices going up week on week?

PS The doctor said I am now considered to be diabetic, will need medication(tablets) but I have to see the diabetic nurse to discuss the way forward with her. She will phone next Tuesday, but I can't see her until 3 weeks time for an appointment, the dr doesn't deal with it unbelievably. Linda

Shelly if you saw my twin you would think doesn't she look like Marilyn, but we are a bit different, not Identical born, our boys when they were younger used to get us mixed up !!
