Hi Marilyn the stone is infact a flint like stone but it is a solar lights up when the night comes. it stands at the side of my large Hedgehog. I saw Ted and his nephew and asked them if the midwife disturbed them last night as the midwife drop in on my hedgehog , it gave birth to a deal little one. they said no nothing to do with them. but they both grinned. so I have no idea if it was them.who left it.

When I lived in Norfolk I had lots of Garden Gnomes 6 of them sat under bushes I had in the large front garden. and they were happy there for about four years, then one went missing then another. then a third. they were missing for over a year then one morning I went out to water some small plants and they were back where they had been before with alittle message they had been on holiday and had a good time.that was the year after they had gone missing. I never found out who took them.

Yes it is a brighter day today Rita.
Pauline thank you for thinking of Mum. I am going up to Ruislip to see her this afternoon, well hubby will drive me. I am taking the collage of Dad's photos, I will leave them if she wants them if not they will come back with me. Not much else she needs in there so will see what she has and if she asks for anything. I will let you know how we get on.

Hubby had to have a car key coded this morning a spare for the Astra. He was gone ages and it cost over £50 mad eh?

I started to sort out some of the childminding toys. I hate dumping things. So I have several piles now: one to give to a friend with 4 little ones(mainly art & craft), one for my daughter to look through, another for a childminding friend, some to keep for here when the little one grows up a bit and finally a few bits into the rubbish. Not much that was no good or too past it to be of some use.

Going to paint a chair for the bedroom, to go with the dressing table and chest of drawers. Will need it at Christmas with 12 or so coming to dinner. Also for a small reception for after our daughter gets married on 16th December and 20 people are coming back her after...... OOOps Now I know why I need to declutter.

Morning everyone. I dont know where this morning has gone ? I had planned on many jobs but I am behind with everything. I have paper work to do this morning that will be next.

The weather is so much better to day the sun is out and makes everyone smile.

Thanks Pauline I am not looking forward to tomorrow but I should be use to it now . I have been going every three months for four years.for a scan.

I will give you all a little laugh. I took my recycle stuff out to the community bin a few mniutes ago. incase I didnt get time to do it tomorrow.
I have a large stone hedgehog in my little front garden (it was brought for me as a foot cleaner to go outside the flat door but health and safety made me take it away incase there was a fire and someone fell over it.
as I went pass this morning I had to laugh someone has put a small stone baby one next to it. I have a solo light nearby. so whether it was placed there last night ? or this morning? and who placed it there is a mystery..
I have three people in mind so I will wait and see who did this deed. lol

Where have I been ?

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots.
Apparently, you can't go alone.
You have to be in Cahoots with someone.

I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have
to be driven there.
I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not
too much on physical activity anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not
to visit there too often.

I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favourite places to be is in Suspense!
It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!

And, sometimes I think I am in Vincible but then life shows me I'm not!

Also, as it was a special birthday I wanted something I could keep. So I bought a very expensive watch. I am very pleased with my purchases, AND I still have some money left over. Yipeeeeee.

Been a lovely day here again, so mild Iwent shopping in a t shirt.
Had some good news about our grandaughter, she doesn't need surgery to remove the tumour from her finger at the moment. Surgeon will review her in 3 months but thinks the bone is showing signs of trying to heal itself which apparently can happen after this type of fracture and the tumour might disperse. She was very relieved, bless her.

Morning all . like Linda .my weather is miserable nothing like yesterday. a real grey old day. when the sun is out it makes me want to get up and go. but this ? well there is no saying what I feel like doing. but it is washing day so I will keep busy for a few hours.

Hope you feel alittle better knowing they have caught those horrible people Jean it will not make up for your terrible loss but at least they have caught them. I say name them and shame them. perhaps it will be in your local newspaper ?

Well still dark here but think it will be an OK day

Think we might be off looking for a car this morning. We have 2 at the moment and don't really need them both now hubby is no longer working and I don't drive. We need something that will carry his bike and yet be a nice car too so he is thinking maybee a Land Rover Freelander? I'll let you know.

Pleased to see your thread that the police have got somebody or 3. I hope they throw the book at them. They should lock them up, chain the door and give you the opportunity to do as you will. Though I know you are too kind to do what they did. It worries me so that you were with them the week before with the fireworks. Please take exrta care. Do their families know where you live? If so please speak to the police as you might need some help, especially with little Scarllett living with you.

Just to let you know I phoned my brother yesterday and he took Mum into the new care home on Thursday evening. She was a bit upset and didn't relly want to go. But I'm not surprised as so much has happened to her over the last few weeks. He went to visit today with my sil and they said she wanted to eat in her room as she didn't know anyone there. So she needs to mix a little and find her place as she has had Dad all her life and they were married for nearly 61 years. It will take time. I hope to go and see her this week, if she has visitors maybe that will help.

Went to Chichester today, it was glorious, 16C and so many people out and about. Saw lots of groups gathering all the way down for Rememberance services and a big parade in the city.

Welcome Ann and BC please do drop in. We don't mind sharing the men !!!
