It's amazing to think last year it was snowing down South and it's completely different now :-)

I went to the library this morning and got a load more books out :-D

it looks like another nice day outside :-D I can't believe how good the weather has been, a bit chilly first thing but so mild for this time of year.
I am going to finish writing my christmas cards today ready for posting next week. The little ones are badgering me to put the tree up but, not before next weekend, I think that will be early enough.

Yep ! I was born twice.....once on the 26th and then again on the 27th. Mum couldn't believe her luck at having such a lovely boy she thought she'd do it all over again the next day.
Apart from that there is the Irish connection.

Heading off to scrap my dear wife's wee car this morning, then picking up her new one. She was really attached to her wee car but now repairs are uneconomical. I have just finished my packing, left the lid open for last minute things to go in the case.. I have never had to rush like this to pack. I sat down and then thought of something else and rushed and got that
I charged my mobile incase I need it.
sorted all my tablets out and put them in the case. I could do with a rest now I know I will not sleep. because I shall worry aout Sheila and wondering if I have taken the right clothes with me.?
I have arranged for a car to pick me up tomorrow to take me to the station I go to Waterloo then two buses or a car to Hamsptead..

so say a little prayere for my sister please she is such a lovely person always helping people. has such a kind heart. she needs prayers at the moment

Rita I am sorry to hear that your sister is not to good. She is normally such a whizz kid, jetting all over the world on her holidays.

Hi All
This is to let you know I am off tomorrow to Hampstead. my sister was not feeling well the doctor got her in to see a Specilist and they are going to do test on her on Monday morning early tube down her throat and her bottom. she is worried. as it has all taken place so quickly.she asked me if I wouild go with her and stay a few days so I have been cancelling appointments and packing in a rush. all of a dither as my Mum would have said
she has done so much for me. so I will be away for a.little while

It's cold today, much colder than yesterday. Mind you, it's not as bad as it was this time last year.

Hope you all have a good day today. weather lovely here bright and sunny and the grass is covered in leaves all from five tall trees that the birds nest in and the squirrels run up an down on.
It looks so bare without leaves. we still have two very old Oak trees with leaves on.

Marilyn I am sure the DFHS will appreicate your offer of help with the photos from Graves. they said it will help people who have ancestors buried in Devon and cannot get there to look for the Graves. the society seem to have more and more people joining from abroad so many that would appreicate photo's.

I suppose your be home for two weeks before you go to Norfolk to your sons for Christmas?

I hope to go to Western Super Mare this year if my health is OK and intend taking photos of the graves there as many or Mums fathers ancestors are buried there in Mells the Horwoods. so I will let them have those as well.

I have been out for a Thanks Giving dinner at Mels Diner .....hmm lovely turkey ok but they only have mash potatoes, or sweet potatoes Uggh....
gravy was like water........But I ate it as I was hungry.
