A wee chuckle for the day .........

An elderly woman was telling her grown up daughter about a date she had been on with an eighty-eight year old man.

'I had to slap his face three times in the course of the evening!' exclaims the old dear.

The daughter was horrified.

' Fancy him getting fresh with you at his age!' she said.

'No, it wasn't that' , explained the mother.

'I had to slap his face to keep him awake'.

Hi All,

LOL Stevey.....always got Whisky & Coke on standby :-D

Dermot I went to mas on Sunday and with all the changes we were all saying it the old way .....at least the priest saw the funny side of things ..
I don't know why the changes ...its such a waste of money printing all those new missals just for a few word changes...that mean the same ...!!

I have been out shopping for the new baby.....awwh little pair of black patent shoes in G*P with tights & socks..

Guess What ?

Its Raining .....its a warm storm, it will pass soon but still 78degrees.
:-S
Having my G&T.....watching the storm really exciting to see the sea angry LOL

Evening all
Well done most of the decorating now. Just a few small bits to finish off and left them for our daughter.

Went shopping this afternoon. Now have the beef for Christmas day. Got some gifts too. Also some lovely fresh clementines with leaves on !!! Christmas must be coming, I remember only having these at Christmas.

Popped in to see our son who was waiting to hear from the hospital that he could pick up his wife after a minor investigation. He let us know she seems OK right now. We will go to see them in a day or two.

Then our youngest dropped in on her way home for a chat, but she was surprised we had been to her flat and nearly finished it all off for them. She said we shouldn't have and had a rest.

Tonight I hope to write some more cards.

Have a lovely evening everyone

Cannibals complain that the white man, when well roasted, tastes like ripe banana.

I think I'll just stick with turkey again this Christmas.
