I sent two very scathing messages to GR last night. I would have given the Friendly Thread a copy......BUT.....I couldn't get on the Board.

My Membership is up at the end of January and I am seriously considering not renewing it unless the Service vastly improves. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

Anyway....stop moaning Barr.....you're alive and well...that's what matters. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Hello folks,
Just a quickie before I go to my bed.
I hope you are all well.
Roly had to go for his scan on his kidneys today, and no stones were found,
So now he has to have either the dye put through his body, or the camera into the privates.
He has been in so much pain, that they are now thinking it's his postrate.
It never rains but it blasted well pours.
I will try and get back when I can, but it's not easy to get onto this site again lately.

Evening Pauline, Dame Shelly and Rita, hope you three girls have had a brilliant day today.

Went into town with the old boy, he scared the pants of me today.
We were just leaving M&S when he went very grey and had to sit down, sprayed this stuff into his mouth and just sat there for at least half an hour.
I was panicking a bit, thought he was having another heart attack.
After sitting there he seemed OK, a bit unnerving to say the least.

Anyway all seems OK now.
Getting a little chilly out this evening, so put your heating up to full :-D :-D

I have put my little Christmas tree up and the little baubles and trinkets on the little doll at the top I have had since 1951 and it goes on the tree every year bit worn now.
so my room look more like Christmas. cheers the room up. I did alot of little things because I had trouble getting on the GR site.

I have been watching TV and doing some crosswords in my book.
it has got cold now I thought that Marilyn was going to bring some of the warm weather home with her. just because she has a tan.

I want to stay and watch WDYTYA on BBC 1 from America last weeks was very good. but I am not sure I will make it

Thank you for the Card Linda it is stranding up near my little hi fi.and thank you MO for your card. I have one of those post box card hangers an put it up this morning so my cards are being slotted into the slits on the post box. I already have 9 two came from Scotland this morning as well.,

I still connot get through on the GR site I am going through Friends Reunited and then clicking onto GR site. it appears I have had a page lost duriing alterations. I had a nice email from GR they tell me to clear the Cached the last page that I looked at as it is not reconnisng a newer version of this webpage. If I cannot get the site I am advised to clear the cache on my web browerser. I have to clear my brower history and sign back in again

I have no idea about any of these things so looks like I will have to wait until my daughter or son comes to see me.so I maybe here but cannot contact anyone.

Rita, I don't know if it was hard to get on here yesterday because I didn't have my lappy on. I was out most of the day and then had company.

Linda, thank you for the Christmas card, a few came together and your envelope stood out because it had glitter on. Made me open it first........... :-D :-D

I really must get mine done this week, I wrote ONE out yesterday because it had to go to Canada........... didn't do any more.

You scrub up well Linda, so I'm sure you'll look good for the wedding, just hope the weather holds up for you. Will that be the last of your children to marry?

It's gone beyond the stage of being funny now, I'm really peeeeeddd off with GR and all the nonsense.

I can't remember when I last had any Hot Matches.

When I search a name.....say Barr , I get a load of close matches like Barron, Barton, etc etc and only a few Barrs, what a load of nonsense that is. About 200 names and only a few Barrs......absolute waste of time :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

I have only been able to get to you through Friends reunited. I tried yesterday afternoon to go through on the norm but I get a message which reads.
404 file or directory not found or is unavailable
so I have contatced GR but had nothing back yet. so if you dont hear from me you will know why.

Reading is our nearest "big"town and 2 of my children live near there so I am often around that area. The wedding next week is at the registry office too. It is also the records office, how I wish I had some spare time to do some research while I am there !!!! LOL. Maybe next year.
Well today is Christmas dinner day after gym this morning. I hope I have now written all of my cards and posted those needed. I stiill have my local ones to hand deliver. That is until I get those unexpected ones, you know the ones who haven't sent for years.
