christmas is well on the way in this house now
as tree is up and so is the decorashion done it all last night

got a tree in tescos yesterday not a very big one but will have to do
and not a real one that we like to have as thay was fare to exspencife this year

now trying to stop little one from opening the presents round the tree

LOL reminds me of " pac a macs"

the plastic ones you folded and rolled up into its own pocket!!

not seen a folding umbrella though!!

George... I'm a couple of pounds lighter, as I jived like never before..LOL
Last night was a hit with us girls, great meal ate far too much, I can tell you that the Brain was working well last night :-D

Funny thing happened last night ...two of us were early at the venue and as the weather deteriorated we both wore our mack's and umbrellas, but we could'nt find a suitable place to hang our mack's, There at the bar was a rather handsome man, he came over to us and said "I'll take your wet mack's and hang them for you,I might be able to sell them.....with a grin on his face "
So I said to my friend "He must be the manager how kind thoughtful is that "

Well as the evening went on he was still at the bar, but about ten minuets before we were due to go the man disappeared !! So now we are looking for our mack's we asked at the bar where the so called manager put our mack's,only to be told that was not the manager just a customer ! LOL
We didn't find them hung up I might add, but folded nicely on a chair, with the brollies :-D Perhaps he could'nt sell them ..LOL

I'm off out now........back later Pete got dentist ....

Hopefully they'll find out that it's just your normal brain activity to be abnormal.... :-D :-D

Cath, I've hurt my lower back as well but I can still get around, so it's not as bad as yours. I don't think you'll get an appointment before Christmas, so you'll have to try and take it easy for a while.

The workman may hurry the job for you it is Christmas time. nice when it is finished though. where about are you in Britian. we are from all over the map on this thread. myself I am in Surrey.

off now to post a letter/package. I say that because it is the size of a letter but infatct has two small caddy spoons in.my sister hunted everywhere for two and could not find them. I said why didnt you tell me ? I have some so I am sending her two.
I have had them for about 30 years.

I have workman in from today having my flat redecorated. Not a good time of year to have it done,but as council doing it got no say in it.But as i have my frontroom in with my bedroom,not alot of room to put things out the way. At the moment everything that i can is in middle of frontroom.

Same here as Cath's,
I slept poorly last night as it has been blowing a gale and pouring with rain. The reservoirs should be full.
Not sure how we will take the dog out today? He goes home tonight.
The decoreating is coming on but not finished yet.

Marilyn your as bad as me keep getting health problems crop up. my uclers in my mouth are so painfull I use Bonella all the time but think I will ask at the chemist for a mouthwash I use a mouth wash for when I clean my teeth,but I think I might need a different one.

I enjoyed it a boiled egg with soldiers. I dont have breakfast very often sometimes I have ceral or porriage or toast but having a sore mouth thought it would be better to have an egg this morning.


I have a scan done every three months but once they forgot at the hospital and I phoned and they said to go and see Professor Panda and tell him. which I did that was why I had the scan on 16th November but have to wait till 3td Jan to find out results. If I have to have a MRI I get it withing two weeks. normally.?

It has started to get very cold here and got dark at 3. oclock. so I am going to put the heating on now and sort something soft out for tea.

Morning All..

I have had two busy days ....

Had several family members on Saturday visit me ,and yesterday I was at my sons for Sunday dinner.

Now I went for a MRI 3mths ago on my ears because the ear canal had closed up and consultant was wondering why !! just had the results, nothing wrong with my ears,still don't know why my ear canal has closed .....but they found Abnormal area's within the brain !!! LOL now I did really laugh as my sister always said I thought you had a your problem with brain ..LOL

So I have looked up on Google and cant really make any sense of the meaning, as it covers so much on abnormalities , I never have headaches or blindness, but MS is in the meaning....but I shall have to wait and see, I feel perfect at the moment !
Awaiting to hear for an appointment from the Professor at the hospital.

Its a lovely sunny day today,so I'll just relax and take it easy today.
I'm having a girlie night tonight a meal with girls well women I worked with many years ago, that will be lots of fun & giggles.

Linda....... if you keep eating all those creature delicates there will be no creatures left !! LOL

Poor Cath nothing worse than a back problem something you don't need for Christmas. I waited 3mths for my MRI Cath, so don't hold out much for an early XRay...sorry to say.

Shelly....Now how does one make a Christmas tree ? ....only you CAN do that ! :-D

Sorry to hear about your back Cath hope you get it sorted quickly. why dont you ring the hospital and ask them if they have a cancellation to let you have it. they often have cancellations come through.I have had them before now.

Stephen how far are you from your viillage ? your wear your little legs out running to buy something and then coming home without it. lol or better still write down what you want of take your mobile with you and dial and asked the little lady of yours what you went to the villiage for.

(O I am having fun with this )

it is a cool crisp day. we have sun and blue skies not sure if that is a good sign or a bad this time of the year.

off to have my breakfast now my egg is just about right so I can dip my strips of toast in.

I went out this morning early to go to the Village shop for milk as there was very little left. It's something we rarely run out off.

dark, windy and wet here and getting worse later apparently. :-(
Feeling sorry for myself today as I managed to hurt my lower back yesterday, housework is dangerous ;-)
I am waiting for an xray on it and have been for some weeks since I last hurt it, haven't even recieved the appointment yet.
