Jeniwren I'm so sorry to hear about your lovely horse what makes people like that ? they should be locked up and the key thrown away along with all the bad folk of the world why should we let them into society...I'm so mad to read this.
Hope you feel better with the biotics Mo and if you washed your hands...well what can I say I was sure it was a Mo germ ;-) Didn't do any baking today son phoned from Aus to ask me to sort out something with his business, as mother is now odd job man >>>"only a few invoices mum " he says HA! what a laugh! so will maybe bake tomorrow if we survive the morning...................Got to take cat to vet (sons cat) !!! for injections fine as long as we get her into the basket now that's going to be a laugh and a half last time she almost clawed the arm of my son's FIL who took her so not looking forward to it might need some of your biotics please:-( If I disappear well you know what has happened I'm probably locked up in a cage in the Vets and the cat's at home ;-)

Hello everyone, sorry I have been missing for a while, things have been a little up and down here so have not been spending much time on computer. Mo, hope the antibiotics soon start to work, take care love. <3 Very sorry to hear Marilyn is poorly again, do hope she will soon be back home and feeling much better. <3 Yvonne, my horse Red died after being very badly beaten by the people who stole her from a show we attended in Cumbria. She was a gentle and loving mare and didn't deserve to be beaten, as no animal does. Shelley I hope your little one enjoyed his birthday.
Hope everyone else who is on here at the moment is well and enjoying life. Take care and stay safe. :-) :-) :-) <3 <3

Thanks for the update on Marilyn Shelly. The poor girl has been unwell on and off now for some time, and it's about time they sorted her out. Sending((((((((((((HUGS FOR MARILYN))))))))))))) Get well soon honey.
Well I succumbed and went to the doctor today, it turns out I have got a chest infection, so have got anti-biotics again, really fed up with myself. The tooth seems to be healing o.k now, and the biotics will help with that as well.
Noreen, I washed my hands before I came on here, so I shouldn't have given you my germs love, sorry if I have. Don't forget to stick some cake down the cyber hatch for us, coz we luvs it dontcha know. Not overly keen on the ginger bread men though, but a nice fresh cream sponge or eclair would be great......I'm not greedy really ;-) ;-) ;-)
Yvonne, when ever we have to go over the Sheppy bridge, or even the Queen Elizabeth, I shut my eyes, as they scare the pants off me. It was a miracle that no one was killed yesterday. There were the lorries carrying the cars away from the docks down there involved as well, and it's such a frightening sight seeing them under normal circumstances, let alone all piled up on that bridge, mangled up with normal vehicles.
Well it's the weekend again, so has anyone got anything exciting planned. I know Noreen will have the family coming, but I am wondering if our Shelly has managed to finish the garden wall painting. She's a graffitti artist on the side I am sure of it. lol
Bye for now folks, see you over the weekend. Mo

Noreen it looks like the physio's are taking the kill or cure way, with patients lol. Thank goodness the tooth pain...or lack of tooth pain, is now getting less, but this darned cold is a flipping nuisance. I need a nose bag to catch the drips, coz it decides it going to run when I least expect it to, and it's not a pretty sight. We moaned at our children when they had runny noses, and we ran round after them wiping it, well thats how I feel at the moment. I wonder if I stuck tissue up me nose, it would help... ;-) ;-) ;-) dont think so somehow do you. Oh my word, it's been another scorching hot day here, and I have had no energy to do a thing, apart from sit in the chair all day relaxing. Did anyone see on the news, about the accident on the Sheppy bridge today. Over a hundred cars were involved in a bad accident, due to fog. The bridge is about five minutes from where we live, and we have driven over it many many times. The fog was rolling over the marshes below the bridge, and I cannot understand why the locals would drive at such high speeds under these circumstances.
Shelly, you would probably have driven over the bridge, if you and the family had gone down to either Leysdown or Sheerness.
Dinner time is calling, so cheerio for now. Hugs Mo

Oh Mo I'm sorry didn't ask you how you were it sounds as if you had a rough time with your tooth hope it soon get better nothing worse than tooth ache even when the tooth isn't there and to get a summer cold is always worse than a winter one somehow, hope you feel better keep taking the honey and lemon and perhaps a wee whisky. I'm off to physio tomorrow been going for the past year with pelvis out of place and neck problems after we were in a car accident I'm just getting fed -up with it the treatment is so blooming painful but I suppose must soldier on though when it will sort itself out is anyone's guess the laugh is physio is up a flight of stairs (no lift) think these physios do it on purpose just to make sure you need them when you get to the top :-D

Noreen, you haven't bored us to death love. If the others are like me, lord help them. Following my tooth extraction on Monday, I have been feeling pretty rough, and have gone down with a rotten cough and cold on top of the pain in my gum....feel like poo.
Bless you my love, you lose a family member, and a new life is about to begin, that unfortunately is a fact of life isn't it. I hope your sister in law is coping after the funeral, and that you and yours are coming to terms with the tragedy.
Well it's time for my honey and hot lemon now, so I will say cheerio for now. Hugs Mo

Hello I'm back don't ask me what I've been doing the time has just run away with me apart from having to do the VAT return for son's business and it not being quite right however done and dustied now. Good luck tomorrow Mo with your tooth this time tomorrow it will be all over and done with!
Huia I have met quite a lot of "cousins" from all over and it's surprising how many have made it over to UK some to stay some to visit but all been really nice to meet so you never know someone might turn up at your door.
Oh Shelly your making me quite jealous with your weight loss I really must start just can't get motivated though we nearly burst Mo with the big chocy cake I made and honest to goodness didn't I make another one last night for any of the family that came today really must stop making them as all we do is eat them ....not a good idea :-( So Shelly what are you painting in your garden....flowers?? what a good idea could do with some of those no bother watering or looking after haha.....
Think the certs Yvonne is about £12 that's what they are for the Scottish records which I have to have plus the Irish so they don't come cheap I sent for one recently thinking it may be my aunts rumoured 3rd marriage alas it wasn't so a waste of money ugh!!
Well this week has been a bit yukky as you may know my brother was buried in US so we couldn't get there so sad and my cousins husband also died last week however son announced their engagement they have been together for about 10 yrs (where's the time gone) with 3 kiddies so about time too but really nice news and then of course we have a new g/daur who should be arriving on 4th Nov ..So life runs true ..... a death a marriage and a birth......... Strange how it works out . Think we might go to York shopping this week ages since we were last there and as long as the weather is good don't know about you lot but it's kinda cold here tonight quite chilly and had to put a cardi on first time in ages ah well it is Sept?
Hope Marilyn is OK off to watch some telly now Be Good Enjoy Tomorrow
x :-D

What a shame the cousin lives here in the U.K Huia. Like you, I have discovered three cousins of mine living in O.Z, but we shall never meet, as the distance and age is against us all now. Such a shame really, when I think that we may have been in OZ ourselves back in the early 70's, if I had passed my medical. We applied for the £10.00 assisted passage, and got turned down, oh well thats life as they say.
Shelly, are they going to be the spandex type of knickers that you will be shoving the spare flesh in. How far did you get with the painting today?
Yvonne, how much are the certs now?. It seems ages ago that I bought the last lot, and I have come to a standstill with my research as well. Members of the family seem to have vanished into thin air.
Still no Marilyn or Noreen, I do hope they are o.k
Must go now, speak to you later, Mo

Afternoon everyone
Lovely sunny day but a bit chilly,
Huia that's good about finding another rellie and getting photos, I haven't been doing much research lately, I need to get some certs but haven't got the money to do it at the moment.
Shelly well done with your diet. you need to do some sit-ups to get rid of your belly. Don't get too skinny or they might mistake you for a bean pole and put you in the garden! lol :-D

Hi ya skinny minnie Shelly. If you lose any more weight, you will slip down drain holes crossing the road. I suppose the next thing on your list will be a tummy tuck, rather than tucking the spare skin in your tights or jeans lol ;-) ;-) ;-) Well done matey, but don't lose to much coz we wont recognise you any more. Cor, I cant wait to see the results of the garden make over, I bet it's looking great.
Oh Huia, what fantastic news for you and your sister, finding distant relatives like that is such a bonus, and makes everyones research worthwhile, wether it's yourself, or family making the first contact. Will you be able to meet up with them? I do hope so, as it would be wonderful for you all.
No Noreen today yet, I hope she hasn't eaten to much cake, and burst :-D :-D :-D only joking Noreen. I bet family have turned up out of the blue, like ours did this morning, just as we were about to go shopping, but it was so lovely to see them all. So that makes four grandchildren and one great grandchild I have seen today, as well as my own children and other halves.
Must go now, speak soon, love Mo
