Show me the way to go home
Officers Version
Indicate the route to my abode, I'm fatigued and I'm wishing to retire. I partook of alcoholic beverages 60 minutes ago And It's gone right to my cerebellum. No matter where I perambulate, Over hydrosphere nyphosphere or atmospheric vapors, You will always hear me chanting this refrain Indicate the route to my abode.

Hazel, is that your tree in your avatar? It's lovely and big, but would be far to large for our lounge. On second thoughts, it's probably not, as you are waiting for the decorating to be finished. Der stupid me.
Pat, I hope you didn't have to much of that mulled wine, and were able to get home by walking in a straight line. lol ;-) I know Marilyn has been trying to tempt you with her G+T's. lol ;-)
Oh Rita. I did laugh at your sisters escapades. Thats the sort of things that happen to me. Who do you think will win the dancing tonight. I hope it's Harry or Chelsea, only I think Jason Donovan had an advantage by appearing in stage shows, where he was dancing to a degree in them, so he should not be in the final two.

Pauline I like the Email Christmas card that was really lovely.
My sister was telling me she is going to a Carol service at her church this evening it is always packed out on a Carol service night. so she had to phone her son in USA and tell him not to phone tonight as he usually does ttbecause of this.
I had to laugh, she is getting forgetful and went out to the paper shop with out her brolley and it started to rain. she rushed back home to get it. she picked the wrong one up. and when she got to the shop found she could not shut it.( the reason she had not been using it ) she had to go in the shop with her brolley still up , opened her purse and all her loose change fell out into her umberella. she said it was so embarassing as people where helping her collect her coins up..
I was just reading a new thread Posh ( Christina died ) that is another one right on top of Christmas as well. it is sad enough losing some one but right ts Christmas .when people hope to enjoy themselves.,

Morning all.
It's cold outside, everything's frozen solid, can't open the bin lids.............. but at least it's not snowing.
Bob, I could do with Aggie to help me clean the windows.
Rita, we used to say 'Red sky at night Sailor's delight', wonder if that was because my dad used to be a sailor.
Pleased the wedding went well, Linda, you can relax now........... for about a week. That's 3 of us with a bad back now though, we'll have to book Fluffy Paws to sort us out.
Mo, I'm really pleased to hear that Roly is OK, you'll be able to enjoy Christmas now.
Cath, I knew Stephen would be able to help you with your lost sailor.
More lovely Christmas cards arrived.............. thank you Jean and Pat. I liked that return address Jean, did you make it yourself?
I wonder how long it takes for the insurance to sort out a new gate for you, George.
Don't work too hard Marilyn.
Have a nice day everyone.
Where's Shelly?

A WEE CHUCKLE FOR THE DAY
Three men in their sixties were discussing their lives.
One said......
'I'm still a once a night man'
The second said.....
'Well I'm a twice a night man'
The third said......
'Well my wife will tell you that I'm a five-times-a-night man '
And they all agreed......
'We really shouldn't drink so much tea before we go to bed '

Morning Friendlies We had a wonderful day. Thank you for your good wishes. The weather was kind, only a little sleet when we woke, clearing quickly and sunny by the afternoon. All the house preparations were well worth while and the house looks good for Christmas too. Just need to get out the Christmas decorations now, tree to decorate and cards to put up. Didn't go to bed til late, and slept poorly, bad back. Not sure if it was due to moving furniture, or wearing higher heeled shoes for longer than I normally do too.
Well have a lovely day everyone
Linda xxx <3 <3 <3 :-) :-) :-)
