Morning all
Had a lovely day with all the family, everyone seemed to have enjoyed the day yesterday. The food was really good. Beef was perfect, and all the accompanyments were remembered, amazingly.
We put out a buffet in the evening, which was mainly tackled by the youngsters, me myself didn't want anything more.
FIL stayed, until about Thursday when we will take him back to his flat. Youngest and her hubby also stayed, but they are off to her MIL today, so showering at the moment.
Might go out for a little drive today as nobody coming here and the weather is beautiful so unseasonal.

Today will be a relaxing day, Bubble and Squeak for lunch, a nice long walk with the dog and settle down with a good book and a large glass of Ba**eys, Mmmmm.
Tomorrow I will tidy the house and pack my bag for our trip.

That sounds lovely ...oh how I wish I was there.. I saw a Squirrel today on my fence and I was thrilled to see it ......not often do I see a Squirrel only Pheasants & Rabbits scurrying by...

Christmas day has arrived here in New Zealand, a beautiful fine sunny day. My son will be up from Rotorua about lunch time, in his campervan and tonight will go over the hill to camp in the valley as he likes to hear the morning bird chorus.

Evening everyone, managed to use my boys tablet thing to get on :-D :-D
funny thing...lol.

I see the old boy has been on, I rang him to check how everything went and it seems all ok :-D :-D. he has had 5 stents in all, and the doc said he should get no more problems, so all chickity boo. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

All have a cracker of a Christmas and lets hope next year will be a blinder :-) :-)

Good afternoon to all my friends here.

I have finally decorated the Christmas tree this afternoon, so now I feel more like Christmas after the wedding then hubby's birthday.
Twelve tomorrow from around noon so glad it is all done
FIL staying for upto a week

Went and saw Mum on Wednesday, she was bright and perky, quite with it I'm glad to say. But it still isn't "home" to her yet. She seems to have made friends with two ladies one aged 94 and the other 90 and they sit near each other, so that is good. We took her a calendar with the family birthdays etc and some toiletries, she needs so little in there. But hope to take her out for a meal in the New Year.

Have finally booked some time away for ourselves. Going to St Lucia where it is warm. Will hopefully be back before the baby is born !!

Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas Day and that you all enjoy yourselves and that the New Year brings us all better health, we have been a poorly lot over the last year. LOL
