Morning everyone, another brilliant day, sun trying to get out :-D :-D :-D

The woman at Morrisons car park I would say was in her late 40s, just think the tank, an old type Merc was far too large for her, and it looked like she never turned her steering wheel enough :-)

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to the weekend. :-D :-D
Have a cracking day :-D :-D

George :-) :-) :-)

I didn't quite get that, Dermot, I'll have another look at it later. :-)

Morning all......... it's very windy here but not as bad as yesterday.

Rita, I'm feeling much better now thanks............... I've just been busy with family and friends popping in. I've had 2 phone calls already to say I'm getting company today....... so I might not get back again later.

Shelly, it might be best to leave a trap set when you go to bed because mice usually travel in pairs............ well, the ones round here do. :-)

Stephen, I haven't read your poems yet, I'll read them later. :-)

I agree with Bob, I think that woman in the car park was on something.

The phone's ringing again.......... be back later.

I'm certainly not, and I'm sick and tired of being told that I am."

Morning all

we have a mild morning , no blue sky but it is dry at this moment.

Jean glad Scarette enjoyed her Christmas. I think Christmas is a time for Children and families to get together. families dont get together as much now as we did long ago.

Stephen I thought Marilyn was going away again. I must have made a mistake ? Pauline wasnt well she had a bad cold so perhaps she is still not too well. if you see this Pauline hope your get better soon.
Foggy hope your well on the mend now ?

have a good day all

Morning everyone, hope you are all ok. very dark and wet here, dont think I will go out today.

Hot bacon rolls and tea or coffee for anyone who wants them.

Stephen hope the strong winds you have been having in Scotland haven't caused too much damage.

Are you all ready to celebrate the start of 2012? I will be glad when the weekend is over so that I can get my home back to normal. I take decorations and tree down on 2nd January, this time of course I have toys to deal with as well, Scarlett thoroughly enjoyed opening all her presents having a child in the house at Christmas makes a big difference I think, a much more a special time, but exhausting.
Think I will go have another cuppa before my day starts to get busy.

Take care and stay safe friends.

Bob, I agree with you. Perhaps somebody should have called the police to come and check her out. She sounds a right proper nutter.

But then perhaps she has alzheimers and nobody has stopped her from driving yet. My DIL's mother was still driving after she was diagnosed, but her daughter eventually sold her car and the woman's neighbours said 'Thank goodness for that, she was sometimes driving on the wrong side of the road.'

When my OH was diagnosed with it I suggested tactfully that while his driving of itself might be alright, in an emergency his brain might not react fast enough, so I thought he should stop driving. He accepted that, thankfully. It meant I had to drive him everywhere, but that is a small price to pay for the safety of everybody. It now makes me aware that there might be other drivers on the road who are brain-impaired. I watch all other drivers with an eagle eye.

Huia.

Now we have possibly made a misjudgement while driving our cars, but the "Parking space "incident worries me, it seems as though she was on something, whether drink or drugs, but she should NOT be allowed on the road in my opinion....

while possibly funny to onlookers it could lead to something downright lethal...........

Evening everyone

Congratulations Pat and to your niece and new baby

George, the parking incident made me laugh, I know I shouldn't laugh at other people's misfortune but I had a little giggle

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, mine was quiet, we had a meal out on Christmas Day, very nice but I couldn't finish it all, huge portions.
Boxing Day we went to friends and had a great afternoon and evening playing on the Wii and a game of Trivial Pursuit

Went to work this evening, had a few customers

The Wind.....it's blowing so hard here it reminded me of a wonderful song.....

What Colour is The Wind

What colour is the wind, Daddy
Is it yellow, red or blue
When he's playing with
my hair, Daddy
Does he do the same to you

When he's dying does
his colour fade
Is a gentle breeze a lighter shade
Just like his friend the sea
The wind feels blue to me
-------
When the blackbird
starts to sing, Daddy
Do the flowers hear him, too
When he's pouring out
his heart, Daddy
Tell me, what do roses do
Do they cast their
scent upon the air
And is fragrance just
a rose in prayer
Giving thanks to God above
For the blackbird's song of love
-------

Blow, wind, blow
Wild and free
My Daddy says
You're a lot like me

I know each colour
Its shape and size
I've seen them all
With my Daddy's eyes
-------
I know that grass is green, Daddy
I've touched it with my toes
And snow is purest white, Daddy
I've felt it with my nose
But my favorite colour has to be
The colour of your love for me
And Daddy, I've been told
That love is always gold
-------
