But I am not able to concentrate this afternoon, I keep looking at the clock and saying this time tomorrow I will no if I am OK for another three months at least. the scan results always make me feel like this. so think of me tomorrow please.

Marilyn I can't believe that it was a year ago when you flew out to Cyprus and Pete wasn't very well. Where has that year gone? Have a fab time <3 Like I said I'm back at work tomorrow. I'll be showing off about my great nephew :-D

Been watching the BBC news channel. Tragic news about the shootings in Durham.
Glad that I don't travel on the trains that much. The fares have gone up more than by the rate of inflation :-P
I see that the Government is staying to get families to eat more healthy food.
To me it's Fish and chips on Mondays and chicken curry on Wednesdays which makes life more enjoyable :-) It's Monday today as well so guess what I've got for tea?.

:-)
Going to spend a nice afternoon watching Poirot and Miss Marple on telly.

A Wee Chuckle for the day

Three Sisters

Three elderly sisters, ages 92, 94 and 96, shared a house together.

One evening, the 96 year old sister went upstairs to take a bath. As she put her foot into the tub, she paused.
Then she yelled down to the other two sisters and asked, "Was I getting in the tub or out?"

"You darn fool," said the 94 year old.
"I'll come up and see."
When she got half way up the stairs she paused.
"Was I going up the stairs or down?"

The 92 year old sister was sitting at the kitchen table drinking a cup of tea and thought,
"I hope I never get that forgetful,....... knock on wood."
She shook her head and called out,
"I'll be up to help you both as soon as I see who's at the door."

Hi everyone
Had a great time last night, but too late for me. I've been tired all day.
The food was very good, the Abba copy group sounded like them, the disco a little loud and a couple of glasses of bubbly, just enough not too much. The fireworks were really beuatiful and went on for a long time too. We didn't get rain then just when we were coming home. Oh Stephen I thought you had abandonned Edinburgh as we had one gent in a kilt !!!

Have to try to get a gift for a friend tomorrow, not sure where we will go? It's for her 60th birthday on Tuesday.

Sleep well my friends I am sure I will.

A happy new year everyone.

Oh boy I am foot sore and weary, dancing the new year in. I am not hung over though, as not a drop of liquer passed my lips.
A few sore heads, are throbbing away within the family. lol Serves em right says I, if ya can't handle it, don't imbibe is my motto. ;-)

Congratulations Huia, on the birth of your great grandchild. It's my Roly's birthday today as well, the 1st of January.
He complained as he was growing up, that he only ever had one lot of presents, to cover his birthday and Christmas. Ahhhh bless him.
I couldn't believe it, as he is an only child, so the expense should not have come into it.
The problem probably arose because of the era, the early 1940's, just as the war was ending.

Bye for now folks, take care. Mo

Good Morning Everyone.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

We watched the fireworks at the Thames from the safety of our top back bedroom window. It was a cracking show, about 10 minutes long. It was drizzling here, so we watched the pyrotechnics with a glass in our hands, in the warm.

Congratulations to Huia, how wonderful for your family.

Hope everyone else is warm and well.
