Still got bad throat and ear ache. But not so bad now.

Off out to the house where we all lived with mum and dad,mum and most of us were born there. As it would have been my mums 85th today. Missing her so much been 3 years now since she had gone.

Evening All ,

Lady Stephen decided a day out with our grand-daughters was in order....we have had a magic time with them. Went to a wee Highland town, fed the swans and ducks, had a 'chippie' at lunch time, loads of sweets and Irn-Bru to keep us going in the afternoon. Then home for them....pleasantly tired :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
There was a group of canoeists , 23 of them , on the river, it was flowing fast and high , the melt water from the snow would make it VERY cold indeed. They must have been keen. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Dr Fluffy Paws has examined my hand.....he says to keep it until it's better.

Hi Everyone
Madly busy here. Too many birthdays and celebrations, lovely but quite tiring. Didn't get home til after midninght last night from the 21st party. Just back from lunch with our daughter in law today, very nice Italian meal.
Last shopping done I hope, just need to pack now ready for an overnight hotel at Gatwick, then off to find the sunshine. Get some warmth into my poor old bones.
Rita I hope you get good news when you see the specialist, Is anyone able to go with you? Hope Charlie is better soon too.

To all others take care for a couple of weeks I will be back and hopefully rested. I have several books to read and hopefully will get through them.

I've been a busy bee stripping in the loo ;-) ;-) ;-) Wallpaper that is, goodness knows how many layers there were but its all off now.
Painted the ceiling this morning and will do the woodwork tomorrow. The new wallpaper will probably have to wait until next weekend before it goes up.
Trying to catch up with the household chores now as no-one else has bothered :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|
Stephen hope the hand feels better soon perhaps you should let DR Fluffy Paws take a look, lol :-D.

Hello Rita, it's very lonely on here today. Where has everyone gone.

I've been busy with washing, ironing and cooking the Sunday dinner today, so haven't had time to come on here until no. Theut are coming to put our new gas boiler in tomorrow, so I had to get a bit organised before they come.

Sorry to hear about your grt, grandson, hope his head will soon heal.
Bless him, looking for the betterflies, such a lovely age....it goes by too quickly.

Hope you are feeling a bit less down today, we are all here for you, anytime you need to talk or let off steam.

Morning Friends on Friendly Thread
it is a grey morning here and very cool. I do have the windows open to let the fresh air in.

No one about on here this morning are they still in bed suely not ? I can see Stephen is up. and Huia

but the others have vanished. How is you hand today Stephen ?

My Great Grandson Charlie was taken to hospital this morning, he fell over indoors and cut his head he is only three. they have put butterfly stitches in. he was looking for the butter flies when told what he had on his cut head.other than that he is oK.
I am off to make a cup of coffee now I am parched.
