Hello all

lol Mo and Rita, I'm not going to America for nine months really, it was for Breast cancer awareness, you put in your FB status a place depending on which month you were born in and the date was for how long you were going for. They did something like this last year. Mind you I wish I was going to America, I could do with a holiday.

Rita a friend of mine wouldn't ride her horse on Friday 13th in case she fell off!

Rita, I have been hogging the fire lately, and it looks like I will be sitting on it all over the weekend, as they have forecast it getting a lot colder.
When I go out shopping, I look like the Michelin Man, with all my layers of clothes on. lol It's hard to see where my rolls of fat start and finish.
I am off to darts tonight, not looking forwards to going out in the cold again, brrrr, roll on the summer.

I wish Foggy would pop in more often George, we certainly do need cheering up.
When our Stephen pops in with his humorous fun, it certainly lightens the day for us.

Well folks, I must get myself ready to go out. It takes me ages to get into my wardrobe of clothes, and put them all on. lol ;-) theres nothing left in there by the time I am finished. Come back Marilyn, I need fresh clothes to wear, I need to raid your wardrobe next.

Evening Sallie, Rita, MotownGal, and MO in Kent.

I hope you girls have had a brilliant day today seeing as it was quite nice.
Its a pity old foggs doesn't pop in more often, especially with some of his jokes to cheer everyone up :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D mind you some of them are a little naughty :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

George :-) :-) :-) :-)

Maddie I thought you have left us for good ? Mo it is about time you showed up. what have you been up to ?
I knew Marilyn and Linda were on holiday but wondered what had happened to the others Yvonne going to America for 9 months we cannot allow ? that she can take one of us with her in her suitcase. so we can keep an eye on her. My brother and sister in law who called in yesterday stayed three months in Kentucky that is where their daughter lives with her husband and child.,They go out there three times a year. I thought today was the court day for Jean as well. I dont know why but I thought it was mentioned. I expect Pauline is busy with her shopping . we have not heard from Lady for months now or Agatha, perhaps when she moved she was too busy to come on here.
Shelley comes on now and again I think she is busy as well.
George we know pops in like Foggy does.

I expect Stephen was working today ? maybe he will be in later on this evening,

I hope the thread stays friendly.

Mo in Kent Report 12 Jan 2012 15:14

See Maddie no one missed me either, but we are spying on them all the time, and they didn't know it.
We have to make sure that Stephen,George, and Foggy are behaving themselves. I know we also have the occasional visits from a few other gentlemen friends who pop in now and again.
Shelly has not been seen or heard of for quite a while. Pauline must be having fun out shopping somewhere, trying to catch up with our Marilyn.
Sue is a definate stranger lately, Lady has been absent for ages.
I know that Marilyn and Linda are both gadding away on their hols, lucky blighters.
Yvonne is on the missing list as well, the last I saw of her on F.Book she was talking of going to america for nine months. I asked her to put me in her suitcase, but she hasn't replied yet....... I wonder why ;-) I have lost some weight so she wouldn't have to pay for excess baggage.

I am not sure if it's today that Jean has to go to the courts over the *uggers who burnt her stables down, or if she has another scan to be done.
Whatever it is, <3 <3 <3 for you Jeni.

Sallie, I am pleased that the pipes were sorted out for you. I did add a bit over on Jeans thread. (((((((((HUGS))))))))))

Well, I must go now folks, like Sallie said, the tea pot is calling me, and as we have just had our neighbours knock the door to ask us something, my throat is now dry.

Rita, I'm sorry to hear about you great-granddaughter, I hope that after the next operation she has will sort out the problem for her, bless her.

I still have the heating engineer here although he's nearly finished now and thank goodness the problem has been sorted without spending a further £800. So OH will be happy to hear that when he gets home from work.

I think I'll have to give going to town a miss now, I'm sure that there won't be any of the bread that I buy left as they always seem to run out of that quite soon.

I'm going to make myself a nice cup of tea now, so might speak to later on.

Love, Sallie.xx Sending you and your family lots of positive thoughts.

I think everyone has left us ? we dont even hear from Maddie now. cant think of the last time she appeared on here.?
I must take a shower perhaps thats why they have left us to it ?

We had sun come out about 11 oclock, and then it got quiet cold.
I was sitting sending an email to my sister suddenly the mail went mad and they kept coming up with emails I ended up with 8

My great Granddaughter megan has to spend a lot of time in hospital yesterday she was at the Chelsea and is now waiting for another operation she is 9 years old. and very clever; Then I had an email saying my niece mother in law had a fall and was rushed into hospital. .I am waiting to see how she is now she is getting on.

I want some really good news to come. I think I will have to take my witches broom to have an MOT so I can go fly around and see whats happening around the country.

Think I will sit and have a rest now maybe do some puzzels out of my crossword book.

Morning Jean, hope that whatever is happening to make you uptight this morning, will turn out well for you.

Rita, I had the news on the TV this morning, one of the journalists was in a Southampton Retail Park saying the same thing. Like you I can't see why the retailers are surprised by the news, what with job losses, high prices and the fear of people not having enough money for everyday essentials,,,,,they must all be living in a different world to the rest of us.

I hope to nip up to town later, I just need to get bread from the bakers that I like to get it from and some fresh eggs free range eggs off the market.....but have to wait for the heating engineer to finish off the work that we have had done over the last four days.

Seems to be brightening up here at the moment, hope it continues that way as it has been very coudy this morning, up to now.

It seems to be very quiet on this thread over the last few days, hope everyone that we haven't heard from are all okay.

Take care Rita.

Morning all. well we are getting few now on here I heard the man deleivering the papers this morning he comes around 7 oclock and he runs up the stairs he is in his 70's I think my god he can run at that age. he also smokes, never seen him without a ciggie in his mouth, we have notices up here about not smoking on the premises. so he leaves his ciggie on the wall outside (maybe thats why he runs up the stairs before the ciggie goes out lol) but when he has gone you can smell ciggie smoke in the lobby I quickly make sure my letter box is closed.

I thought smokng damaged your health ?

Last night I went to bed at 10.30 and sat and read for a little while. suddenly a howling noise came from outside the bedroom window I took no notice then it came again this time louder so I got out of bed and saw it was a fox . I have not heard one for quiet awhile around here.

Not much planned today only vacume the flat . is top of the list incase I find other things that need doing.

I was listerning to the radio this morning, and someone from the shops were saying how spending had gone down this Christmas to the past years when they made money,. I wondered how they expected people to spend when there were no jobs about perhaps they thought people should get in debt.and pay back loans all through the year,

Rita, it sounds as though you have had a good day. I love it when we have visitors, we don't get as many as we use to have, which is a pity.

I gave one of my cousins some photographs of her paternal grandmother and grandfather, also some photos of some of our cousins in the USA, she was thrilled to have them.
I've told her I would do a family tree for her to have, when I get round to doing it.

Hello Stephen and George, it's nice to know that you are both ok.

We took our daughter and son-in-law out for a meal earlier on, the food was very nice, but we didn't have coffee or tea afterwards so I'm now ready for a cuppa so I'd better put the kettle on.

Take care everyone.
