Evening Mo George Pauline Maddie and me lol

I loved that ditty Pauline it is true you know.

I hope she isnt knitting willie warmers. lol

I once sat knitting for birds when they had the oil slick I was knitting like mad little tops for them, after the birds had been washed of oil from the sea and beach they had to be kept warm so everyone of my friends were knitting little vests for the birds.you should have seen some of the colours.

Pauline I was with my GP for over half an hour she told me not to use the night time eye drops as they gave me itchy eyes and bloodshot one as well as red eyes. she said the two lots of eye drops I use were the same as the one that affected me in what the use was for to get the fluid down.

I asked her many questions and she explained everything to me. so I do have more information which was nice being able to get some answers.,

Evening All. Me too doing me Dixon of Dock Green. lol

I saw my pal Rita today, and we put the world to rights. We sat laughing all the time, it was a tonic to us both. I shall see her again when I am off in March.

My baby boy will be 30 in March. Gawd it makes me feel ancient. To think I used to hold his hand and look down at him, he is now over 6ft tall and I have to look up at him. Either that or I am shrinking.

Yep Mo the Meet is coming soon. Can we tempt anyone else to come? George, wanna tag along with Foggy, keep him in order?

See ya tomorrow, God Willing.

Maddie

Pauline what are you knitting, ( String Vests or what. )
I loved your little ditty, oh it's all so true.

Rita, I don't normally do the lottery, but have decided to do an american holiday ticket for us tomorrow. You never know, it may win, but knowing our luck, it will only be for a couple of pounds. lol

George, I hope you have been behaving yourself. ;-)

I got this little ditty sent to me...

Another year has passed and we're all a little older.
Last summer felt hotter and winter seemed much colder.
There was a time not long ago when life was quite a blast.
Now I fully understand about "Living in the Past".

We used to go to weddings, football games and lunches.
Now we go to funeral homes and after-funeral brunches.
We used to have hangovers, from parties that were gay.
Now we suffer body aches and while the night away.
We used to go out dining and couldn't get our fill.
Now we ask for doggie bags, come home and take a pill.
We used to often travel to places near and far.
Now we get sore a**es from riding in the car.
We used to go to nightclubs and drink a little booze.
Now we stay home at night and watch the evening news.

That, my friend, is how life is, and now my tale is told:
So - enjoy each day and live it up...before you're too damned old!

Evening all........... I sound like Dixon of Dock Green!

It's been freezing here today, the frost is still on the ground from this morning.

Rita, did the doctor tell you what they are going to do for you?

Jean, I'm pleased to see that those tow-rags got time for what they did, but Mo's right......... you'll need to be alert when they get out. Mind you, I don't think even they would be stupid enough to target you again.

Hazel, it that your house on your avatar?

Shelly, you need to get that lappy fixed.

Hi Mo and Hazel

I went to see the GP today she explained it all to me. I was there for 3/4 hour. when I came out it was so cold I was shivering all the way home it only takes me about 8 minutes to walk from the surgery.

Mo do you do the lotto then ? I do wednesday and saturday the same numbers i have done since it first started. but they are not good numbers.
Mayilrn spends more time away from Devon than in tt lol I bet she forgets sometimes where she is when she wakes in the morning.?

have a good evening

Hello there folks,
Well Rita, I don't believe it, that Yvonne was pulling my leg about the trip to America. There was I thinking we both could get a free holiday out of her, but no, we shall just have to win the lottery, and go for a cruise to America instead.
And we can wave to Yvonne as we go. Oooh she's a naughty minx isn't she.

Hi there Shelly, it's good to see you posting, we have missed you matey.

Hazel, I hope you are taking it easy today, and building your strength up for tomorrow.
What is the talk about in Richmond? is it something that would interest us all, or is it private. If so, tell me to mind my own business lol ;-)

Jeni, I am sooo pleased the rotten swines got their just deserts. Lets hope that someone inside sorts them out for the cruelty they inflicted on your horses. Nasty little scumbags that they are.
Just be alert around the time they are due to be released, just in case of reprisals my love.

Maddie, I hope you and your friend have had a good day today. Not long now till the Victoria meet. I am looking forwards to it.

I hope Linda and Marilyn are enjoying their holiday, lucky blighters.

Byeee everyone.

Yvonne I missed your remarks just read them. so you were telling a porky pie about going to America and there I was thinking how lucky she is lol

In Norolk I knew someone who would not go out at all on Friday 13th. yet my mother in law remarried after Father in Law died and she got married on Friday the 13th in Aberdeen
I said are you worried about the 13th. ?she laughed and said no. one day is like another can be a lucky on or unlucky.

Rita Report 13 Jan 2012 09:50

Morning George and Maddie it was cold outside but the sun has come out and the sun is coming out and it is even getting warmer.

My daughter is 59 and she is due to retire next year. but she is wondering what she will do with her time?. she is one of these people who cannot sit down long, has to be doing something. her husband had a big cancer operation June 2010 and is still not able to do things.
I think they should have left the retiement age alone if people want to retire then they should be allowed to which will then make room for someone unemployed to take a job.

have a good day with your friend Maddie.

hope your day goes well George.

Lovely bright morning here, but jolly cold.

Off out very soon to see my friend Rita. We catch up when I am off work. she was lucky to be able to retire at 60, so her time is her own. My own retirement seems to be on the far distant horizon, every floating further and further away. 63 now, no doubt will they will add a year on again, by the time that comes. Ah well, as long as we have our health and strength to carry on............................lol

See ya later, keep warm, keep well.

Hello everyone, hope you all enjoyed a peaceful night.
Cold here this morning, but the forecast looks good, may even get some sunshine.
I am so glad yesterday is over, the 19 year old, the ringleader in what happened, was sentenced to 6 years, and his 17 year old brother got 5 years. I dont think they expected to get sent down, they were both laughing when they were brought into court, but they certainly weren't laughing when they went out.

Breakfast anyone?
Porridge, cereal or juice.
Bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes.
Hot rolls or toast. honey, marmalade or jam.
Tea or coffee.

If you are going out today please take care and stay safe.
Jean xx

So far I have survived Friday 13th. I went to town this morning, bought a couple of things, then drove to Mangere (near the airport) to visit my OH for an hour, then back to the super clinic to have my eyes checked. I had to wait afterwards for my eyes to undilate. I should have waited longer really as my vision wasnt perfect, but at 5.30 I headed home, driving very carefully, arrived 6.15pm. I have now had dinner.

Huia.
