Morning Jean and Pauline and Hazel

I am getting worried about Stephen now we have heard nothing from him for many days. I do hope he is OK ? I know he is often busy but he usually pops in to leave words but nothing.

I have just taken the recycle stuff and bin bag out to the commercial bins I could not open the recycle bin it was frozed solid. I had to keep banging it to get it too open. the Dust bin one was easy I suppose more people use that.

I am going to do a stew for dinner it is cold enough here. I am going to do my cooffee now before I do the vacuming.

Morning all.

I thought it was snowing when I looked out this morning, the frost is so thick.

I'll be going out in about half an hour but thought I'd have time for a quick look at the board before I go.

My roots need doing but I haven't got time to do them now, I'll just have to walk around looking like a skunk.

Hazel, if you want to see the photos - just let me know and I'll email them to you, it's nice to know what people look like when you talk to them every day.

Does anyone else not have them?

Its very white outside and very cold. I am staying in all day,havent got to go out for anything.

Plus got man about heating coming.

Fed up with holidays !!!

It was the PX I went to in Lakenheath I brought dry egg powder there .one of my favourties when the war was on .
we brought lots of american products as well. some things I didnt know how to cook lol.

Things are not too good for the family. I have to go on 31st to see professor about my operation if they are going to do it or other treatment.? I am worried about my son at the moment as he has only got sight in one eye and they are going to operate on his good eye to try and save his sight you can image how he must be feeling his hobby is fishing it is all he talks about. and then his job as a computer consultant and he plays al ot of computer games with his son.
It breaks me up to see him so worried. I cannot think half the time how to help him.

So it was Foggy spending all the money was it. I had never heard of that place you went too is it a large shopping area then ?

I did toad in the hole and mash for my dinner today. and had jelly and f ruit for afterwards. lol

Hazel there are photo's about from members on this thread we sent them to each other so they could do that put a face to the name. next time I go up to Uxbridge I will let you know I dont go there alot now.I get too tired.

George you little devil buying all those beef burgers.l I make my own I have alittle machine ( donkey years old ) and every now and again I make some and freeze them.
so you and Foggy had a spend up now I suppose your want a loan. lol? when I lived in Norfolk my friends daughter was married to an American and she took us to Lakenheath shopping at the American base.bu8t that was many years ago.

Got a big box of frozen American burgers, really cheap, so, guess what I'm having for dinner

I have no heating yet again,presser has gone again, i had to do it yesterday as well. So phoned housing and i have to wait until they out of meeting be for they can give me a time when they maybe able to come and fix it. I am going to go to the top about this as its happing more often now.Cant carry on like this, I have rayuants which hands,feet and some time end of nose(dont laugh)goes white and then cant use hands at all.And they know about this.

And what with internet people as well dont think its my day. Its not friday the 13th still is it :-(

I woke to a white lawn and the cars again where white with the frost. I suppose we should expect it to be like this. this time of the year ? I wonder how many people turned up to work this morning to cold offices or facotries because the bosses had turned the heating off to save money ? MY son went to work and told me his office freezing no heating over the weekend. so they are sitting in coats in the office.

I think we will have to get a class up doing exercies to keep warm and fit. lol
I notice we are low on the thread again maybe everyone is too busy .I hope the thread does not go down. it would be a shame to lose all my friends on here.

Yes its Freezing here in Uxbridge, Not going out today going to sort out some family tree papers. Plus got few phone calls to make.

Yes that right Joe Orton lived, use to be a blue sign up about it. But loast time i was there couldnt see it. The one that died in 1960's i think it was. Or i know someone died down that road.I have it in a book somewhere..

I have just phoned the internet people i am with to get on wirelist boy what a problem i am having.I have phoned them over 3 times now since 4th jan. And they still cant sort it out.Now got to wait for them to phone me back once they find out what the problem is.She said its something to do with when i moved down from Milton Keynes
