I have just come home ....done my Shopping Exercise and bought just a Hat & Scarf for my grand daughter in PRIM*RT all of £3..LOL

Its so cold out there I had to come home ....see I'm not used to the winter weather here! Thats why I follow the Sun so much.

Hi everyone

I am now on wireless it started from today, and i set the box and everything up myself. I was pleased with myself :-D

New picture is me with my late mum. I am missing her so much today, i think its because i have found some bits out about her dad, I know she is up there with him now.But would love to have her with me here to day to talk about as she maybe tell me abit more info.

I am waiting in today first that i had long day at the TNA centre at Kew yesterday as always over do it now paying for it.Plus the heating man said he be here to fix new bit.As of yet no sign.But did say up to 5.30 they could come.Well bloke been changed the bit then went,didnt even check that it was working. Well it has come on,will see how it when i get back Sunday..

Off to Teris again after Kew tomorrow until Sunday,hoping it maybe Saturday but will see.

Pauline glad lady was nice who came to see you and your son.I think that helps when they like that.

Ooooh I will shut my ears to all this talk of dieting, it's making me feel down.

It's strange Pauline, I would have thought that the powers that be, would have had the Health Action Plans in place a long time ago.
An old neighbour of ours, had a son who had downs syndrome. When the husband passed away, the care of Roger fell to Mrs A. It was always Roger and Mrs A, never any centres for him to go to, just the two of them.
Unfortunately when Mrs A passed away,Roger was placed with a cousin and her husband, neither of them had any idea of Rogers needs, and the poor sweet gentle man, as we had known, became neglected,and ill. The people looking after him were alcholics, and didn't give a damn.
Poor Roger passed away a couple of years after his mother, and bless him, he went to a better place.
The point I am trying to make, is that Mrs A, never would allow people to get close to her, and help her in any way, so poor Roger slipped through the net.
If the powers that be, had known of Roger earlier, he could have enjoyed so many pleasure, with friends, rather than leading a very lonely life.

This will make you smile. for weeks i have had a notice come up on the monitor saying Kodak printer update click here. but I didnt. I clicked on remind me later.

I said to my son these come up when I am in the middle of writing something on the GR site or typing and email. he said they wont make any difference just click they will go away and update it for you. so feeling brave I did click install. the notice goes and up come the line where the little green dots scatter across the line, good thats done . didnt take long. back to my typing on this thread. OH no . ? up comes the update needs to go to your printer what is the number scroll down and click on your printer.. number. so I scroll down three times and mine is not on that list
I know it is a dear printer or was. so I clicked cancel. blow this for a lark. .go on with my typing up come another notice with finish on and click so I did. everything on my monitor went and the computer shut it- self down. so I lost everything all my typing and the site and sat with a blank screen . till it started up again. so I dont know if I have been updated on the printer or not. nothing to show me.
My mind was in a whirl. so I made a cup of tea and sat down, itsnt that annoying when that happens.

My visitor has gone now, she came to do a Health Action Plan for my son. I think it's a new thing they've decided to do for all disabled people. It's in case anything happens to me, they need to know all about him, all his needs, medications and routines. She was really nice, very friendly.

Marilyn, I might join you, Linda and Shelly in that diet............ then again, I might not. :-)

Pauline.......I'm a Cornish Maid , but I did live in London for 30yrs BUT my boys & Pete are Londoners, maybe I have caught a few twangs of theirs.... but everyone tells me I'm proper Devonian as I did grow up here from a young child after leaving Cornwall .......

Shelly, my brother smokes but every time he tries to pack-in he gives up because all his family smoke around him.

I've just had my breakfast, I always wait until my son goes out to the day centre before I sit down and have something to eat.

Shelly, I've got a strong accent as well............ but I sound the same as everyone else who lives around here.

Marilyn, I thought you had a cockney accent when I spoke to you.......... but then again - I think anyone who lives south of Yorkshire has a cockney accent. I live about 70 miles south of the Scottish border (Berwick being the border I'm talking about).

I've got someone coming here at 10.30 so I'll have to run around with the duster before she gets here.

Marilyn half my family were born in Chelsea my Aunts, Uncles, Grandfathers two of them all born in Chelsea and Great Grandfather and Great Great Grandfather along with many couins way back born in Chelsea but they were.nt posh lol they were in the poor side.

MO when you say playing Words do you mean scrabble ? I use to belong to a scrabble club in Great Yarmouth when I lived in Norfolk we met on a Tuesday afternoon and there were many rows over words used. that some said should not be used others that it was in the scrabble book.
I play that with my daughter and sister we play trival pusuite as well.

and mo liveing in kent she must have lost most of her cockney accent
and talk posh a little

and maddie is i think south london and thay talk diffrent to us east londerners

marilyn my ealdest daughter was on a diet and she had to east all the time
but only the right food and she lost over 2 stone
me im still whating to loos mine but im not trying hard enuth
we have a big wedding in june and i still have not lost eny think. to wear some think nice so ill have to go as a humpa lump :-D

Looks a bit brighter down here this morning. Think the rain has stopped. I have tons of ironing to get through. At least it's all washed and dry now. Nobody else to kindly give me any more down the cyberhatch please. How come holidays give you 3 times as much laundry.
