Morning it is nice and sunny here this morning. I am expecting my sister today and we are going out for lunch so I am looking forward to that.

she is a lucky lady not to have suffered cats poo in her garden ever. whether you have a cat or not you can get that. I get them on my small piece of garden I spray Jeys fluid on the ground that stops them and does not hurt the plants..

I had a friend come a little while ago He said he had been for four days in Gurnsey and it had been very cold. he said I put those snow drops in youyr garden, in case you wondered how they got there. ? I said well as they stood like little soldiers I knew the birds had not dropped them in those places. it appears he had to thin them from someone garden he was doing so he had brought them home and planted them in my little front garden. and forgot to tell me. they look lovely they have all got there little white bell like flowers with dropping heads.

Rita glad you had a great day.

I am on a bit of a downer today. Lady next door knocked last week asking me to get rubbies bags out my garden i said may daughter is here to do that,As i cant do it myself plus cant lift the lid of the big bins.Well that was done Just one small bag of garden rubbies left to take away.Well she knocked over the weekend had a right old go.Saying that i am making the cats poo(she idnt use that word)in her garden.I ask her not to swear as i had 5yr old Caitlin here and she wouldnt, kepted saying it.So i said i dont have anymore house rubbies out there and to go away,then i shut the door.She said she is going to get onto the housing about it.She shouted that she had been here 7yrs and never had a cat poo in here garden befor.
I think she needs to get a life.But i did upset me.

Well now Caitlin gone back to school have a few days to myself be for i am over looking after Caitlin Wednesday night and take her to school pick her up Thursday then back home that night.

Cath we have a thick frost here as well the sun is trying to come out so perhaps it will make the frost go and the weather warmer.

I logged on this morning to find more birthday message. I had some emails from America Kentucky and Arlington and I go to say good morning forgetting it is night time there.. it seems strange.

I have a boring day today this morning I have the washing to do. how exciting is that ? still has to be done.

Its really cold this morning, frost all over the cars. I'd be quite happy to stay in all day but no such luck :-( Taking mother to town this morning and then the school run this afternoon.

A Wee Chuckle for the day

Three mischievous old Grandmas were sitting on a bench outside a nursing home...
... when an old Grandpa walked by.
And one of the old Grandmas yelled out saying,
"We bet we can tell exactly how old you are."

The old man said, "There is no way you can guess it, you old fools."

One of the old Grandmas said,
"Sure we can! Just drop your pants and under shorts and we can tell your exact age."

Embarrassed just a little, but anxious to prove they couldn't do it, he dropped his drawers.

The Grandmas asked him to first turn around a couple of times and to jump up and down several times.

Then they all piped up and said, "You're 87 years old!"

Standing with his pants down around his ankles, the old gent asked,
"How in the world did you guess?"

Slapping their knees and grinning from ear to ear, the three old ladies happily yelled in unison - -

"We were at your birthday party yesterday!"

Pauline the cake was that small. there would have been no room on the cake.for candles. my friend from Norfolk phoned and I told her. she said it must have been like the top tier of a wedding cake ? . I said no. it was slightly bigger than a small side plate.

all most over now but I have had a lovely day.thank you to all my friends and family.

Did a fair bit in the gardens to tidy up before the blooms start coming out. Spring is just around the corner.

I have had a lovely day my daughter and Son in Law brought me some lovely flowers filled to large vases also a pretty nightie. I had two CD one Susan Boyles and the other Vera Lynes. I also had chocloates, some books. my son is giving me a lap top .
I had a chocolate birthday cake. not big enough to put 81 candles on lol..
I also received many cards on emails, thank you Pauline for yours it was lovely.
I have just had an email from my Nephew from Artlington America. wishing me a happy birthday he is coming over next month.

One thing though I had to have the plumber in as I had water on the floor in my kitchen.
getting a bit cold now. but it has been very nice out.

Morning everyone
Sun is shining Hubby has taken little dog for a walk. I've been doing washing and tidying up before my brother comes, after they have been to see the baby.

Finished a second sized cardigan last night and the Peter Rabbit cross stitch. So that is good. Started a small white cardigan for my "box of newbies" just incase there are some more little ones on the way to family friends or anyone else in need

Thank you all for your birthday wishes. I have loads of cards they are spread all around the room I had alot of email cards and facebook. . not use to face book so didnt know if my thank.s got through.?
My daughter and son in Law are coming to see me today.my sister is coming on Tuesday.

The sun is out this morning. maybe because we had so much rain yesterday evening and all through the night.
