Mo great new your son is home from hosipal. Hope he takes it easy now. and they can sort him out at the hospital when i goes back.

Hoping old tv will be gone Wednesday.I put it on FB.Did try freecycle did get lady ask about it and never got back to me. I need it out my way as its near frontroom door.

Mo that is good they have released him from hospital. he is young to have had a heart attack then Heart attacks hit every age. . silly man not letting you know. I can understand he didnt want to give you worry. but you would have been prepared for it. bless him for putting you in his thoughs and not wanting to worry you both.but he could have had someone to talk it over with. I hope he will soon be on the mend. is he still in Scotland ?

That Marilyn has a cheek sending her photo of her- self sitting feeding her self like. strawberries and all she will moan when she gets home that. she didnt eat much while she was away but put weight on lol

Hello everyone,
Many thanks Jeni, for letting everyone know what has happened.
My son was released from hospital today, with medication to help him. He has to go back to the hospital Tuesday, for a scan and to see the Cardiologist.
They say he has Peri Cardi-itus (sp) inflammation to the sac that surrounds the heart.
Unbeknown to him, he shouldn't have worked all day Tuesday, and driven half the night, putting extra strain on his heart. And what with sitting with S's gran up to her death, it was to much for him.
You would not believe that at 34 he would suffer with this problem. But they are saying,that this is the second time it has happened, and that the damage occurred after the first attack. And guess what, yes, we knew nothing about it. He didn't want to worry us.

Cath I forgot you live on Gurnsey ? a friend was out there a few days ago. and he said it was bitterly cold and misty he went to play football out there.stayed for a few days think it was four ?

It is a lovely day here, was a the same yesterday later on in the morning but I woke to bright sunshine coming through my bedroom window.this morning. what a treat that was.

I am going to do some breakfast now. I wonder how Stephen is ? . cooking his breakfast I expect before he starts his walk and climb.

This is the first Sunday in along time i have woke up without Caitlin here.Its so nice to be able to just lay here and not start playing schools at 5 in the morning.

Rita yes what some people like others do. My other friend went yesterday with a group of friends some enjoyed it others didnt.

Linda its cold and frosty here to. But weatherman said we are in for a heatwave :-D I will love it but others like my sister and my son are so ill when its hot.

Another foggy day here but I have heard a plane overhead so maybe we'll get mail and papers today.
Decorating wise the end is nigh, some painting (woodwork) to do and then just a big clean up. OH has doors to fit on airing cupboard.

Linda that is a lovely photo of the baby he is a real little smasher. beautiful.

Hazel many people I know went to the WDYTYA last year and were very annoyed as they said they did not enjoy it. Some people might have enjoyed it. we are all different in what we expect at these events.

Jean bless you for letting us know about MO and Roly they must be worried sick. it is bad enough going to see some who dies and then to have Jason getting a heart attack. he is in the right place thank good ness they will look after him

Hi all just popping in

Went to WDYTYA yesterday was disappointed as not alot there this time.But friend was happy she went to see what it was like.

I went out today and with the money i got for car accident i got myself a new tv,laptop and printer. Got to pick laptop up Monday as they putting some other things on it for me.

I have a grand children free weekend(well so far i have)

I am worried about my sister who has COPD she fell down stairs and has broken her foot..Hope to pop over to see her when i can.She is in Essex.

Hello everyone, hope you are all well.
Can I ask you to keep Mo in your thoughts and prayers, her son, Jason, and his partner had to go up to Scotland a couple of days ago as his partners Gran was not expected to live, she had cancer. She died the day after they arrived. Unfortunately Jason has suffered a heart attack and is in hospital, on 2 weeks bed rest. Needless to say Mo is worried sick, so may not be posting for a little while, but she hasn't forgotten her friends on here.

Rita, thank you for your good wishes for my daughter and myself. Jennie's foot is slowly getting better, unfortunately she will always have Crohn's Disease, it's just the flare ups that she has from time to time are very painful because of the ulcers that become infected, so then has to go into hospital.

Like Jennie's Crohn's my problem is ongoing, but there are a lot of people that are a lot worse than us, so have to be thankful.


I'm glad to hear that you are feeling a lot better now, just take care of yourself.
Has your son heard anything about his operation yet? Hope it won't be too long now before he hears. It will be nice when it's all done.

Hello everyone!

I'm still going to the gym. I don't over do it :-)

I tried watching the Rugby. Gave up after 10 minutes. I prefer footy!
It's nice that the weather is warm but it was drizzling a bit this morning.

Well the good weather must be keeping our friends off the thread.

Got the washing done this morning.

Then hubby decided to go for a drive out to test the new car. So we ended up in the New Forest. Took a packed lunch with us and flasks for tea. Beautiful day. Had a walk in Brokenhurst and then in Rhinefield for the Tall Trees Walk.

Must do some knitting tonight, that is relaxing for me and I won't fall asleep. LOL
