Evening to all the lovely friendlies. :-D :-D :-D
Managed to get on at last :-S
Kept getting the stupid error message again :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P I was daft enough to think it had been sorted out for good.
The Island has been enveloped in thick fog since wednesday, caused absolute havoc at the airport with nothing getting in or out. Clear today though thank goodness, damp fog always affects my grandaughter and makes her asthma worse.
Our son and his girlfriend coming round for dinner tonight, I'm really looking forward to it. We're having roasted red pepper soup, chicken breasts stuffed with cheese and sun dried tomatoes and wrapped in streaky bacon, cous-cous and roasted mediterranean vegetables and for dessert (sons favourite) raspberry pavlova. I am definitely not watching the calories tonight, lol.
Time for a wash and brush up before they arrive. Oooh must put the white wine in the fridge :-0

what has happened here?. this morning it was grey and dull and cold ?at 10.30 it started to rain and came down heavy
at 11.30 the sun came out and it is now very warm all this in one morning
you cannot tell whether the forcaste was right or wrong ? as it has been a bit of everything except snow.

I have my dinner on a lamb chop and a jacket potatoe with a salad. and the rest of my cherry crumble. lol

Dull again this morning. Already been raining. Must go for a walk later with hubby to get the paper so he has something to read all week.

Been busy bees already as I have thoroughly cleand the lounge and moved the furniture round into different places as hopefully spring is here to stay. Hubby has cleaned the ovens a job I hate and can't do as I can't reach the back to do it at all.

Off to the baby party this lunch time.

I thought you lived in the tower block Shelley ? see my marbles are going but I did manage to finish my puzzel book yesterday, took me two days 18 puzzels in. so maybe I still have something left .I am half way through another one now.

I see they have tornados in USA Marilyn terrible, saw the photos on TV they recond there will be a big loss of life. good job your no where near them.

Does the time seem to drag while your there or is it going fast ? I have never spent more than 14 days on a holiday and it has always gone so
fast.

My sister flew off last Monday to see and Opera with Andrea Bocelli in (. to Italy ) she went for five days but he was taken ill and is still in the hospital in PIsa so she said people had been very dissappointed not to heard him sing his stand in did a good job many people had travelled from Britian some came from Wales and Scotland. He is one of my favourites.

marilyn i dident see the new but that tower block lund point carpenters road stratford i use to live in it when i had my second child i moved out
i was on the 14th floor over looking the train lines so if i was still there i would be able to see every think

only 10 days and new baby should we here

Hi George at least your getting out and about and seeing new places. I hope you did not spend all of your money lol and put some aside for a rainy day ? I have been to Swindon a couple of times. I recall when it was being built and people were after the houses there/

Looks like our weather is about to take a turn this weekend cold and wet.
made me smile when the forecaster said we need it badly to help with the drout..
I suppose that means Veg will go up. or perhaps they are taking this drout to an advartage for the shops to put up their prices, they put them up every week. I spend more time checking prices than I do actuall buying time.

Taking about moving ...Shelly did you see that man near you in that block of flats in the newspaper refusing to move as BBC wanted to buy the whole of the top floor overlooking the Olympics for commentating ?

He was the only owner to wants more for his flat than the others ...mind I don't blame him I would get as much as I could too, but don't know if he was being greedy or just sensible about the price .

Shelly ask the BBC if they could use your house, be one way of getting out !!
