Hello everyone, hope you have had a good day.
Rita and Stephen, I dont think you ever stop worrying about your children, even when they are grown up and have families of their own, as you say Stephen, children are for lufe.
I have spent most of today getting ready for Scarlett's party tomorrow, made tiny cup cakes and iced them different colours, animal shaped biscuits, and will do animal shaped sandwiches, then of course there will be ice cream.
Will probably be on my knees by 5 tomorrow afternoon, LOL. fingers crossed that all goes ok.
Am going to have a cuppa now then I think an early night might be a good idea.

I have just come in from shopping .......NO nothing for me all for grandkids !

How true that is Stephen. about children mine are going through rough stages at the moment all in need of prayers.. It is nice being a Mother but it breaks your heart when you see what they go through and your unable to help.

My Grandson is in the Falklands at the moment , I was pleased when he was sent there and not back to Afganistan. It is not such a worry the worry is where will he be sent next.?

I feel tired today I think it is this dreadful weather we are going through grey skies and quiet chilly.

Cold and windy today but the sunshine helped a lot. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Off to my daughters after tea . She's going to the French Alps for a weeks ski-ing. She leaves very early to morrow morning.She has never left her children for so long before, usually one night at the most.and I know she will miss them loads She deserves a wee break she works hard at her business and gives her children loads of activity as well.
I'll get the blame of her going ski-ing as it was me that taught her when she was about 6 years old and she has kept it up ever since.

Yes. A family can be a real worry when things are not going right either in terms of their health or life in general.

What a lot of folk don't realise is that when you have children they are for LIFE not just until they grow up. Once they screw the lid on your box .....the job is done.....and not before.

You have given me a laugh Stephen thank you for that. with all the sad news of the troops and the worry I have at the moment of the family it is a release.of pent up nerves.

I dont think our family will every get back to normal.? we seem to be one step forward and two steps back. no wonder my hair has started to go grey.

The weather is not helping either it is what you could call a very grey day.but all the trees are still nothing swaying. it is really quiet errie at the moment.

I am off for my shower now. see you all later.

Those boys who died were very young, their photos have just been on the telly............ so sad. Don't even know why we still have troops over there.

Been busy today with family tree, in between doing housework.

Been nice and sunny here, why couldnt it be like that yesterday when i was i out :-( But did have a good day got some jumpers for £2,few pairs of pj's fr £6 each. And new bag for my laptop,i didnt want to get a laptop bag,so got a over night bags,fits in nicely as well as paperwork and pack lunch. Sortted :-D

Off to meet lady tomrrow who i have been helping with her tree. Found more innfo for her,so she is coming back to mine to have a look.

Finished sewing together a white second size cardigan and put buttons on the pink one< going to Canada in May. Started another white one in 4ply wool so a bit finer(nicer I think too).

R.I.P to our lads who have sadly gone but will never be for gotten.

I have just read on my thread where they have given the names and ages of the men killed.They are nearly all 20 years old one is 21 and the other 33 what a terrible waste of life

They were still young boys really at the start ot their lives.
I feel so heart broken for their parents and families.
